Don't you have a teleport? I thought everyone had one these days.
Get up at 3am on Sunday morning, teleport to London, watch DW the day before, teleport home, go back to bed. Wake up, was I dreaming?
|
I wish! I am so jealous.
Just too expensive at the moment. I have to trudge along with those old fashioned, soooo 20th century Concorde thingies.
It's good that I know a famous Hollywood actor/pilot who has a secretly concealed one in his jetport.
Or have I said too much?
It's painted black in stealth paint. Must get some rest for the arduous flight Saturday evening. |

That's an interesting point, because I saw a documentary about life in that time, and it said that the kings weren't much more hygienic than the peasants. So this scene in The Holy Grail:
"Must be a king."
"Why?"
"He hasn't got shit all over him."
would be technically incorrect. |
It would indeed.
Saw an interesting film on SBS, before it went all commercial, where the King of France, (sometime in the 18th century I think), decided to "bathe".
Everyone followed him down to the fountain, (more like a swimming pool), in the garden and walk in, more or less fully clothed, splash some water on his face and walk out. And that was it. Everyone said how brave he was to actually "bathe".
And lets not talk about the bathroom facilities in some of the palaces before plumbing and flush toilets ...... |

I change that to June 30, coz the UK broadcasts were interrupted by Eurovision. |
