I stumbled upon this show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival earlier this week. It's well worth watching if you're going to be in Melbourne in the next few days.
| Quote: | Wellington has been rejected by experts. Seriously rejected… Father Christmas, Doctor Who, ABC Television, Angus & Robertson, David Attenborough and many more. He received his first rejection letter before the age of ten. Today, he has so many rejection letters that, if he were to read them out loud, it would take… well, about 45 minutes actually. With padding in the shape of laughter from some sort of amassed group of punters (say, an audience), it might stretch to a bit longer. Especially if he remembers the bit about the pilot, the bucket, the horse-riding accident and the farting fish.
“Wellington… is as comfortable without the script as with… a ripping good time.” Theatre Guide London
“A brilliant comical character-actor.” The Groggy Squirrel
“A talented mimic, mime, actor and improviser.” Melbourne Stage
