Eureka is a name of a science fiction TV series that began in the US Sci Fi Channel last year.
Without giving too much away the show is about a town called Eureka that is inhabited by geniuses.
Last night I finished the first twelve-episode season and I have to say that overall it is a very fun show to watch.
The show has been considered a success and it has been commissioned for a second season due to be shown later this year in the States.
Eureka has not yet been shown on Australian TV. My best guess is that Sci Fi (in Australia) would be the one to get the show if none of the free to air channels are interested in showing it.
So for those you have already seen the first season, what do you think of it? |

| I just finished watching the six part webisode series Hide and Seek which from the looks of it leads in to season 2. Overall quite enjoyable. |

Did some checking and Hide and Seek is actually a seven part series plus the prologue and it seems to be stand alone considering that I saw the first seven episodes of season 2 last night. Hoping to rectify the situation with Hide and Seek very soon.
As to the season 2 episodes very enjoyable and was delighted to see in episodes 3 and 4 the very beautiful Olivia d'Abo. |

Finally saw the final episode of Hide and Seek and quite a surprise ending. |

| Found out from an ad shown during last night's Supernatural that Eureka is on 10HD. Not good news for those (including myself) who do not have 10HD. |

Last night finished season 2 by watching 2.8 to 2.13.
I love 2.10 and 2.11 is just downright hilarious. |

A couple of nights ago saw season 3 episodes 1 to 7. Episode 3 Best In Faux featured robot dogs. Coincidentally earlier in the day I bought the K-9 Tales DVD set and I am thinking that K-9 would be at home in Eureka.
Episode 4 I Do Over, Doctor Who gets referenced not once but three times. If people have seen this episode will understand why.
Episode 6 Phased and Confused had one scene in which the character played by Frances Fisher was holding a key and someone in the room made a joke of it being the Osterhagen Key as seen in The Stolen Earth last week on ABC1. |
