Finally watched the final episode of DW yesterday (thanks, Davros). Well, interesting is a word to use. Must say watching my husband's and son's faces when Jack talks about being "the Face of Boe" was worth the wait!

But at the end of the day, we all agreed we were happy enough to see the end of Martha. We preferred Rose by far, which is rather pathietic, isn't it? Oh, dear.... Rolling Eyes

Now the wait until next year. Do you think the ABC will look at streaming, as the free to air channels do with popular programmes?

"Streaming" is a bit of marketing hype from the commercials. Most programs arrive at the local networks via "streaming". They just hang on to them until they need the ratings.

There's no real reason why the ABC can't do the same. Canada part funded the first series (CBC) and they got the programs to air within a day.

Maybe the Beeb have some sort of contractual condition to stop the ABC from doing the same. More likely the ABC can't afford the bandwidth. They may be streaming already. By dial up! Which would explain the long delay. Wink
