On Joanna Lumley's guest hosting the show it included an AbFab style shoot and a parody of The New Avengers called The Really New Avengers. Joanna did not play Purdey for the parody. She instead played Steed, host Justin Lee Collins was Purdey (!) and co-host Alan Carr as Mike Gambit. Nigel Havers (who appeared in the Paul McGann BBC7 radio adventure No More Lies) was also in the program for the segment about How Much You Know About The Host (Joanna).

With both The New Avengers & Absolutely Fabulous being mentioned in the show there was however no mention of Sapphire & Steel.

Well known Who fan Rob Lowe guest hosts tonight's show.

Rob Lowe was very enjoyable in his episode which included a parody on The West Wing which was called The West Country Wing!

Camille Coduri was in the episode shown just hours ago. She wasn't the guest host as that was Mischa Barton. Camille was there for the How Much You Know About The Host (Mischa).

Justin Lee Collins introduced Camille to Mischa by saying:
"Misc, she was Rose's mum in Doctor Who, Camille Coduri."

I did not think that I would ever hear Mischa Barton's name and Doctor Who in the same sentence but I am very delighted that I did.

Camille was on Justin's side for that game and on Alan Carr's side was Harry Judd who is part of the band McFly and the band including Judd made a cameo in The Sound of Drums.

McFly made a cameo in "The Sound of Drums"??

I didn't realise that Rolling Eyes will have to go and rewatch it Smile

I don't mind McFly - like some of their songs...

Ross Kemp guest hosts tonight's episode.
As a result of his role as Eastenders character Grant Mitchell he got to appeared as his character in the Doctor Who-Eastenders crossover skit Dimensions In Time which celebrated Doctor Who's 30th anniversary in 1993.

As always it is was very good to see Billie.
Included in her episode was the parody Doctor Who on Ice with host Justin Lee Collins as the Doctor (which he also did in the David Tennant one) and co-host Alan Carr as the Master (the Delgado version).
This included many monsters skating on ice including a Draconian, Cybermen and a Sontaran. Collins later said that there was a Dalek but I didn't noticed one. In regards to the Sontaran, Billie either did not know or did not remember what they were called saying it was the Somari or something and agreed with Collins that it looked like a "s**thead". Oh dear.
There was also a fake promotion for Doctor Who in which Billie got unwitting members of the public to dressed up as new monsters for Doctor Who and they all looked silly!
Curiously one thing missing from her episode was the Who Knows Most About the Guest Host segment. Either there was something Billie didn't want us to know about her or for some reason that segment was cut out of the UKTV broadcast.

No, that was the "Ask Me Anything" segment, where the audience gets to ask her questions. The "Who Knows The Most..." segment is where Collins and Carr team up with two other guests and have to answer rather bizzare questions about the guest host. Then someone from the winning side runs through their side of the audience wearing the Coat of Cash
