Just before the final Vicar of Dibley two nights ago, saw an ad of Complete Guide to Parenting but the voiceover refer to Peter Davison being from The Last Detective. As much as I like The Last Detective, surely people are more aware of Doctor Who than they are of The Last Detective. Not to mention that the Davison Who episodes were last shown on the ABC a couple of years ago which is still in the scope of recent memory.

That's par for the course, though - I keep finding DVDs of Robert Carlyle, for instance, that say he's from The World is Not Enough, which is curious considering that surely Trainspotting and The Full Monty are still his most well-known works.

Episode 1:
For a comedy series, I found this opening episode mostly unfunny. I however had a little laugh at the hostage situation at the school.

I certainly hope the series improves.

This was quite a funny idea, actually. Just wasn't done massively well.

I liked the use of the Kids' Line, and the scene at the end where he got arrested. But other than that it wasn't great.

Episode 3:
Things did not look well for this episode the moment that George went to pick up Jamie from school.
Although it was not mentioned by name the book that George reads to Jamie was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Did not find anything funny about the grafitti kids plot.

My favourite line:

"This isn't Jamie's room, either."

Episode 4:
Amusing when Korey says the "f**king echo chamber".
Nice to see Danger Mouse on the TV as I haven't seen it in a long time.
Like the song when Karen lost Jamie at the shopping mall.
