Saw an ad during a break for Burn Notice, three nights ago that Medium season 4 will begin on 10 on Thursday February 14 9:30pm.

And Then:
Quite a good opening to season 4 and quite a good use of the Sound of Music song for this storyline.
The first, but not the last it would seem, appearance of Angelica Huston.

But for the Grace of God:
This episode once again features young Allison but this time she is played by Jennifer Lawrence instead of Jessy Schram. I am guessing Jessy is getting too old to play young Allison anymore. I shall miss her as she has been really good in the part. So far Jennifer has performed well in her place.
The premise of this episode being that Ariel through her dreams gets to meet her mother when she was her age, a Back to the Future type situation.
The mystery has kept me guessing.
Nice use of "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House and quite liked the way the episode ended.

To Have and to Hold:
The main thing I got out of this episode is that I hate Peter Barrister (Michael Gross). This guy showed absolutely no gratitude to Allison for finding his daughter. This is shown with him selling his company, his reason being that he wants to have time to take care of his daughter. It is really an excuse not to give Joe a job especially since Barrister sold the company to Joe's former employers the very people who made Joe jobless in the first place.

Do You Hear What I Hear?:
Very cheeky use of this song title for the name of this episode.
The episode is about Allison becoming deaf as a deaf girl has been kidnapped.
Patricia Arquette really delivered a very good performance as Allison being helpless without her hearing.

Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble:
Liked the beginning with Allison and kids in a black and white film.
Another episode featuring Connor O'Farrell as Larry Watt. Having been on opposite sides of the legal fence in the past this time around Watt employed Allison's services but nothing has changed about him.
Always good to see William Sadler in whatever role he is in.
This is a case in which the real criminal gets away with it. Hopefully at least for now.

Aftertaste:
The promo for this episode has the voiceover saying that the Gregory Itzin character could become the next US President. Yet in the episode itself no such ambition was ever mentioned. It is more probably a joke given the fact that Gregory Itzin had already played the US President in 24.
Do not envy Joe having to call a call centre operator to warn him of a robbery.
Very good direction from Miguel Sandoval (Devalos) but this is the second episode in a row in which the real criminal mastermind gets away with it.

Burn, Baby, Burn Part I:
Quite a shocking dream that Ariel has.
Quite a good performance from Kathy Baker as Joe's mother.
Awkward with Manny representing a client who is suspected of killing his wife.

Burn, Baby, Burn Part II:
Good conclusion.
The resolution involving a dentist and a missing girl which figured out a moment beforehand.

Wicked Game Part Two:
Very lovely dream from Allison of Cynthia and Suzie by a lake.
Very disappointed that Cynthia killed Joanna Wheeler because only Cynthia and Allison are the only people alive who knew how evil Joanna was, other people would simply think of Cynthia as being a killer of a sweet innocent girl.

The next episode guest stars Rosanna Arquette, Patricia's sister. Been wondering when she was going to turn up especially since their brother David has already appeared on the show.

Lady Killer:
Rosanna Arquette is absolutely wonderful as well as being very beautiful in her guest stint in her sister's show.
After Gregory Itzin in Aftertaste earlier in the season, this episode guest stars another 24 star Jude Ciccolella. Like Itzin earlier on Ciccolella plays a supporter of Devalos but not a very savoury character.

Tonight's episode on 10 is called Partners In Crime and that is also the name of the 2008 season opener of Doctor Who which would soon be on ABC1.

Partners In Crime:
This episode sees the return of Kurtwood Smith as FBI Agent Edward Cooper.

As I said before, the Doctor Who 2008 season opener is also called Partners In Crime which will soon be on ABC1.

However I have now seen both the Doctor Who and Medium episodes and they are both very good.

A Cure for What Ails You:
Five people dies from taking pills.

Very clever plotting on who the real culprits were which makes me think of the Alfred Hitchcock movies Strangers On A Train.

Car Trouble:
Very good mystery with the car of the title with a good guest stint from former West Wing star Joshua Malina.
Episode ends on a cliffhanger - would Joe give in to the temptation that is Meghan.

Being Joey Carmichael:
Joe resist temptation from Meghan which creates awkwardness between them in the office.
Migeul Ferrer was very good as the Carmichael brothers and creepy his final line in the episode.
The episode also featured former Bones regular Jonathan Adams. Coincidentally this episode was shown on 10 after Bones was shown on 7.
