As reported on DoctorWhoNews.com Steven Moffat has won a BAFTA for Best Writer for his Doctor Who episode Blink.

He beaten Jimmy McGovern (for The Street), Tony Marchant (for The Mark of Cain) and Heidi Thomas (for Cranford).

A surprising success considering the calibre of the other nominees.

Awesome story, loved it even when I read the original in the annual a couple of years ago. Those Angels were awesome. I want one for the corner of my room Smile
