| A couple of days ago I finished watching on DVD the Blake's 7 episode Sarchophagus the first of two written by Tanith Lee. My opinion of it is the same when I first watched it on video a few years ago and that it is superb. I have not read any of the sci-fi novels she subsequently written but I think Tanith Lee should write for Doctor Who. What do you think? |

Perhaps this extract from Gareth Roberts' review of Blake's 7 season 3 would help people to decide about Lee when he talks about Sarchophagus:
"Lee uses a very simple ghost story involving nobody but the regular cast to play an unforgettable character study that moves the series effortlessly from pulp SF into fantasy. Decades before Buffy or Russell T Davies' Doctor Who, Sarchophagus is years ahead of its time." |
