With season 2 of House soon to come on I thought I might start a thread on it.

Yesterday, I bought the Sydney Sunday Telegraph which had a free preview DVD of three complete episodes from 10 each from House, Supernatural & Everybody Hates Chris.

The House episode that was included was the season 2 opener to be shown this Wednesday. It's quite good.

Even you did not get the preview DVD you should still be able to enter the competition to get the House season 1 DVD for free at www.news.com.au

Who Weekly has given the season 2 opener four stars.

The TV series seems to be going along very nicely at present.

The new House isnt as good as the first series. They start out the episodes ith him wearing a light jacket and as the show goes on each day he wears a darker one. The light jacket completely destroys his character by making him much less synicle and ruins all his jokes but by the end he is funny again because of the jacket. I understand that they are probably trying to show his darkening feelings towards the crisis of each episode by changing his attire but it's ruining the first half of the show for me. And the new hair cuts of the black doctor and the female doctor have changed the characters of them both and have ruined them for me.

Adding the exwife has detracted from the screen time of Cutty or whatever her name is and House's friend, two essential characters. This is another thing screwing up the show.

Finally, the new music. It's p***ing me off. I hate it. I cant wait till next year when they will hopefu8lly change it to something better.

But other than that its the best show on television.

It is actually his ex-girlfriend.
It is actually Cuddy.
I definitely do agree with you about the music. Don't understand why they change it.

Autopsy:
The case with the girl in this episode was very touching. Quite surprised to see House on a bike.
Not quite sure I like the new theme tune.

Meanwhile the episode on March 2 is second place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day.

Humpty Dumpy:
We finally see the human side of Cuddy as an asthmatic man falls from the roof of her house whilst working on it.
This episode is in stark contrast to what we usually see of Cuddy especially with Lisa Edelstein's performance.

TB or Not TB:
Really did not like Sebastian Charles.
The scene in which House treats Charles in front of the TV cameras had been shown by 10 the week before the season 2 debut as a sneak preview. That scene alone was pretty good. Not quite sure I can say the same about the episode as a whole.
As House pointed out would Cuddy had asked Forman to apologise to Cecelia Carter if she knew it was him and not House who had done the biopsy for Cecilia. Could not believe how House got himself and Forman off the hook.

The next episode on March 8 is about a visit from House's parents and it gets three stars from Who Weekly. It even have a cute subheading: "Mr and Mrs House call".

They said TB WAY too often. If they had said Tuberculosis about five more times it could have balanced it out. I got really really annoyed.

Daddy's Boy:
House's parents appears very late in this episode as it seems to parallel a young patient Carnell's relationship with his father. Was not expecting how important the father's job would be to the story.
House's meeting with his parents does not seem as bad as he thought it would be.
Cameron is saved by Cuddy in lying to House at the last minute in order to for him to see a friend of Carnell in his office. I really wasn't expecting her attempted lie to him.
House says to Cuddy about a rumour of her being transsexual. Found out from TV.com that this was an in-joke as Lisa Edelstein played a transsexual on Ally McBeal (the show that Russell T. Davies really hates).
Nice shot of the disabled sign as House leaves on his bike as the episode ends.

No new House this Wednesday as a repeat of the first season's Paternity will be shown instead.

There is another repeat the following Wednesday this time showing the episode that guest stars Dominic Purcell and this will be shown at the same time that 7 shows Dominic's show Prison Break. So he will be at two places at the same time.

TV WEEK states that many good shows including House, Prison Break and Spicks and Specks is on Wednesday night. How could we choose? TV WEEK states that many good shows including House, Prison Break and Spicks and Specks is on Wednesday night. How could we choose? That is why it said having to choose is the What's Not on TV. (Personally of the three shows mentioned I only watch House & Prison Break).

House on March 29 is fifth place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day.

I totally love "House" it is one of the best shows EVER! (right up there with doctor who)
When i first watched it I thought what a cool show.
A few weeks later, I decided to borrow a video from the library. It was blackadder. (I was just wanting to see if it really was as cool as i had been told) now, at that time I had no Idea hugh laurie was in that show. I guess you could imagine my surprise when I found out.

Now, because of blackadder, I never see Dr Gregory house ths same again.

thicky, thicky, butler, thicky! (oh, the prince regent is a freaky characrter.)

Also, how opposite is Greg to the character from stuart little?

I must say Hugh has got to be one of my favourite actors.

Spin:
In between the showing of this episode and the previous season 2 episode Daddy's Boy on 10, I had an argument with the admin of another forum regarding House. This would perhaps explain why I did not really enjoy watching this episode.
Was surprised to see in a very brief role Tom Lenk from Buffy. Not to mention that sometime later on in the season his Buffy co-star Michelle Trachtenberg will make an appearance as well.
Very shock to see the preview for the next episode on April 5 which gets four stars from Who Magazine.

Hunting:
I find the gay patient here to be very unsympathetic.
House and Stacy seems to have a warm experience together by trapping a rat but House had to let her know that he read her file on Mark.
I wonder if there is any repercussions between Cameron and Chase.
