Dexter made its premiere on free-to-air last night 6/7. After reading many write-ups in the Guide when it was on cable, it was good to finally see it for myself. It was pretty awesome. You can't help but like Dexter's dark, twisted character, and I'm very intrigued as to the mystery from his childhood that made him the way he is.

The write-up in the Guide said that his foul-mouthed sister "would make Gordon Ramsay blush". I think that was a bit exaggerated. But anyway, great show, and I'm looking forward to more.
