From Doctors 5-8 who is your Doctor? Who has improved and who has gone down in quality as the years go on?

Peter Davison- the young Doctor who in real life is now a grandfather.
Colin Baker- the unlikeable Doctor finaly given some likeable scripts.
Sylvester Mccoy- the little man with a big pressence
Paul Mcgann- the one off Doctor returns.

Personaly I like them all and they all bring something to the part but I choose Colin Baker as he tries so hard in every story and it shows in the quality produced Wink

It's interesting, this, because McGann is my favourite Doctor ever... but I'd rank Colin in the top spot for audio Doctors. My order would go Colin, Davison, McGann and then McCoy (I don't dislike McCoy, but he's hamstrung by occasional bad delivery and Ace). Colin obviously puts so much more into each script because, as he's said, he feels that the scripts he gets for Big Finish are the best he's ever gotten. With scripts like ...ish and The Sandman (and a host of other examples), it's damn hard to disagree.

Colin- Dont have to look at him anymore. Seems to be the most engaging.

Peter- Voice has changed with age. Almost didn't know who he was in Sirens

SYlvester- Just doesn't seem interesting.

Paul- I like him but not more than Colin.

1. Colin Baker - He obviously loves the role so much and gives it his all, and for a change is allowed to. And Evelyn is the best companion the entire series, audio or tv, has ever seen.

1st place was easy....now the tough ones......

2. Sylvester McCoy - Season 26 was what 'the real McCoy' was all about. Darker and more brooding. And the audios (and McCoy himself) have capitalised on that aspect of the 7th Doctor tremendously.

3. Peter Davision - His voice has aged more than the other three, but he's had some classic scripts (Spare Parts, Loupx Garoux to name only two), and the addtition of Erimen by the GORGEOUS Caroline Morris has been great for the Doctor and Peri.

4. Paul McGann - A great couple of seasons when he first began, then for some reason the stories produced for the 8th Doctor just didn't grab me as much as the others. Don't get me worng, the other Dr's have some duds but McGann's seem to be more consistent.

Truth be told, I enjoy all of the last three audio Dr's equally, with Colin Baker in front by a mile!! This is an extremely hard poll, as I could jumble 5th, 7th and 8th Doctors in any order.

But Colin is definately the winner hands down!!

Yep I agree,

1 - Colin Baker - great to listen to in pretty much all the stories, no matter which companion he's got with him. I have to say The Holy Terror is still my favourite story full stop.
Seems like Evelyn hasn't been in one for a while though, I think she's in 100 coming up in a while.
Favourites: The Holy Terror, The Pirates, Jubilee

The rest are all equal for me as well

Sylvester McCoy - I've enjoyed the recent ones after a few slightly dodgier ones, Night Thoughts and The Settling were very good.
Favourites: Master, Night Thoughts

Paul McGann - Alternatively I haven't found the recent ones all that exciting, Other Lives and Memory Lane weren't all that great. Hopefully we'll get some plot development for either or both of Charley \ C'rizz soon
Favourites: Chimes of Midnight and Natural History of Fear.

Peter Davison - Lots of great stories, Peri and Erimem are a good combination, and Nyssa is good as well.
Favourites: Spare Parts, Circular Time

What stories do you consider your favourites?

5th - Loups Garoux, Spare Parts, The Council of Nicaea, Circular Time

6th - The Marian Conspriacy, The Holy Terror, Davros, Arrangements For War

7th - The Fearmonger, Master, The Harvest, Night Thoughts

8th - The Chimes of Midnight (this has remained my all time BF fav since hearng it for the first time), Seasons of Fear, Terror Firma, Other Lives

There's so many audios now it's hard to choose. Confused
