I don't want to big note myself... but... I was part of the group of motorcycle enthusiasts who "foiled" an attempted armed hold-up at Regents Park Sporting and Community Club last Wednesday.
We meet monthly on a Wednesday evening at Regents Park.
I feature prominently in the CCTV footage. I am the fat hairy guy with the blue chequered shirt, black vest, and waving a chair about.
The robbers had a Machete and a shortened Samurai Sword. A third bandit excaped in the getaway car. We noted the registration plates of the vehicle, which was probably stolen.
Just type "Southern Cross Cruiser Club" into the YouTube search engine and you'll see the footage. 
Cool 'eh? A little story like this has gone world wide so fast due to this thing called the "Internet" or whatever.
We will soon be part of a photo shoot involving a nude model for "The Picture" Magazine, which I am told is a bogan magazine, but... anyway...
