Christian Bale plays John Connor not only in the upcoming fourth Terminator movie Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins due for release on May 22 2009 but also in a fifth and sixth film as well:

Charlotte Gainsbourg has been cast as John's wife Kate playing the character first played by Claire Danes in the previous film Rise of the Machines:

Charlotte Gainsbourg has dropped out for the role of Kate Connor due to a scheduling conflict with another film.

She looks set to be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard:
