| A bit of time has passed since Doctor Who returned to our screens. With a bit of hindsight, what was your favourite story? |

The quality of this series was so high it's difficult to pick a best. Unquiet Dead, Empty Child and Parting of the Ways were very good but I've gone for Dalek. A good story with an interesting twist (emotional Dalek). CE's acting was top notch and I felt he first became the Doctor in this story.
"What are you going to do, sucker me to death?" great stuff. |

Tough choosing between Dalek, Father's Day and Boom Town, but I went for Dalek. It all comes together almost perfectly in that one - the music, the acting, the tension, the visual effects, the humour; most of all, however, it's the sheer joy of hearing and seeing the Dalek for the first time: "Doc-tor?" Surely the highlight of the year!
The other two episodes were both excellent, in my opinion, but are missing a (very) little something. Boom Town suffers from having the feel of being something to serve as an expedient for the season story arc, rather than being a full episode in its own right. |

| Very tough. Iv'e decided to go for Father's Day. To me words can't really describe how good I thought this episode was. The only thing I can say is that this was the only episode of Doctor Who that has made me cry. |

The Unquiet Dead for me.
I know I know. Another 19th century setting. I prefer this setting over the 1940's. And I thought the chemistry between the Doctor and Dickens was great.
The best guest cast IMO (as small as it was). |

| Indeed this has been a tough choice but in the end decided upon Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways. Dalek & Father's Day was also good while The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances was quite fun. |

| Dalek edges out The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances by the very thinnest of margins, with The Unquiet Dead not far behind. I thought the ending was too melodramatic and emotional but I absolutely loved the rest and besides, I think the whole series was too melodramatic, particularly Bad Wolf/The Parting of Ways, but thats just me. |

| This is a harder decision than I first thought. I managed to narrow it down to either Dalek or Fathers' Day, but haven't been able to make up my mind. I suppose I'll have to give it to Dalek, but it's not by much. |

After much dithering, Father's Day. However, there are many good episodes to chose from here, so it is kind of hard! Special mentions to Dalek and The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances for making me think about this for a while.
Maybe I'll change my mind after watching them all again...? |

Boy - this is sooooooo hard. I picked Dalek because it meant that Dr
Who had truly returned to the small screen. It was a true TV event not to be missed by any Dr Who fan. |

Oh, decisions, decisions.
When something goes wrong people often say, "It's not the end of the world." Well, for once, I can say that it is, because that's the one I picked. |

I voted for the empty child because of the excellent plot revealment of wat was going on.
Although I think it might have been historically inaccurate with all the zepplins over london. Correct me if your a history buff |

| Empty Child/Doctor Dances, for the great chemistry between the leads, with Father's Day close behind. |
