Thrilled with the Crows last weekend. Hope they can replicate that performance against the Eagles. I'm pretty confident (he says now!) the Crows will win, though I reckon Swans may struggle against the Saints.

Swans were lucky to get away with the game against Geelong courtesy of that traitor Nick Davis. They'll be smashed by the Saints on Friday.

Adelaide West Coast is a hard one. I'd love to see both of them cop a hiding, but it can only happen to one of them this week.

I think St Kilda will be hard to stop from here. Expecting them to be holding up the cup on GF day.

I agree with you rundoc about St Kilda, they will be hard to beat. Hamill is a big loss though.

My money is certainly on St Kilda. They have improved markedly since the season began.

i dont want to seem rude or anything, and no offense to adelaide supporters but i am glad that adelaide lost - i was ribbed, teased, laughed at and i copped all manner of offensive emails, texts and phone calls, because i am a port supporter of course. and, although i never talk about football in the company of adelaide supporters even when port win, i always get more than my fair share of abuse when port lose - especially when they lose to adelaide.

i appreciate that the same may happen to supporters of other clubs as well, but i am really fed up,

anyway, thanks to west coast, i dont have to endure another week of what feels like the equivelant of getting a blast of the Masters tissue compression eliminator thingo

Don't like Port but I can't stand Adelaide. Really glad they're out.

Have to put up with Swans bandwagoners all week now. If some of them knew the rules it would be an improvement.

Oh yeah.... everyone sing it now....

Same old St Kilda
It's still the same old St Kilda
Same old St Killllll-daaa

Ok everyone, time to get your tips in.

Who will be holding up the cup on Saturday at 5pm?

I think Sydney, with or without Barry Hall. West Coast don't play anywhere near as well on the G as they do at Subi

My father-in-law, who sadly died yesterday, was a statitician with the Eagles. So for that reason I'm going for them.

Not that it matters, but does anyone have a prediction about which team will win the pre-season cup?

Go the Power...

(I think it's still too early to get excited about footy - i'm still in the mood for a bit more cricket...)

You're right ant-mac, it is too early to get excited about footy. The Aussies tour to South Africa started last night so I will be busy watching Cricket for the next month or so Smile

Wouldn't be not exciting just because your teams lost would it?

I know it is only pre season but the Pies Sainters game was a great game. First time since 1994 an AFL match has gone to extra time. Glad I was there to see it.

Actually, I think I posted before my team played.

But I still feel that the AFL season isn't really that well organized. Each team should either play each other team once or twice - not the way they currently have it set up.

I think it would be good to shorten the season a bit...

By the end, it's not just the players who are beginning to suffer from fatigue...

I support the Dockers so I am a very happy man after beating the Weagles, still I am focused on the Cricket at the moment. But that's just me Smile

The Dockers beat the Eagles?

Excellent! Well done!

I've always had a soft spot for them...
