Why did he let her know about the file? He was doing so well.
I bet anything that there will be repercussions. Both of them having HIV or becoming an 'item.' One of the two. |

The Mistake:
Interesting that the episode starts with an event months ago with Kayla suffering from stomach pains.
We soon find out that Kayla is now dead as House and Chase faces disciplinary charges resulting from her death.
It is another of those episodes in which the characters recount what they did that led to their current predicament. In this case we learn that it is CHase's fault when he admitted to the brother that he screwed up with her sister.
Having met Chase's father in the previous season who told House that he has cancer, we learn in this episode that he has died since that visit. Hence Chase screwing up. What a way to tie up a loose end.
Very mean of House to blackmail the surgeon only to rat him out to his wife anyway even after doing the operation.
I wish I could say that I am surprised about Forman being House's boss but I read about it in the review for the next episode just before I got a chance to finish this one. I blame the clash with Prison Break for this.
Can't wait to see Cynthia Nixon. |

| I think that this was the best episode all year since they changed everything. It was funnier and more interesting or something. |

The Deception:
Last night I decided to record Prison Break on 7 and watch House instead of the other way around. This is the first time I have seen an episode of season 2 as scheduled on 10 without having to record it. Unfortunately my niece had to be noisy for the early part of the episode.
Cynthia Nixon is great. It's too bad that she doesn't seem to learn her lesson at the end.
Her character Anica mentioned FDR. In the TV movie Warm Springs, Cynthia played Eleanor Roosevelt.
Forman does not find it easy to be House's boss. |

I couldnt beleive what I saw last night! The ad for this ep (as always with channel ten) featured the best joke in the whole show and instead of the ad ruining it, the joke was actually better on viewing. (Im refering to "Hey Wilson! Guess what Freman just did!")
I hope Foreman doesnt stay in charge. The situation is interesting but I dont want it to become a permenant thing. |

Failure to Communicate:
Oh House and Stacy really did it: they kissed. Just as it was the moment he had been waiting for House gets a call from the hospital.
Even though he is not in the hospital, he still tries to solve the case of the journalist via phone.
It was quite emotional when the journalist's wife finds out about her husband's secret.
Quite funny when Cameron says sarcastically to Forman that he is boss of them because he is the boss of House coming after what House suggested what they should do. |

| I'm sick of them always going for the lumbar puncture. It seems as if they do one every episode! It's like they're addicted to it or something. I'm becoming bored with the idea, it's taking some of the interest out for me. |

Saw Erica Gimpel (Elizabeth Stone, the journalist's wife) last night in the Boston Legal episode The Cancer Man Can just five nights after seeing her in House. Funnily enough this is what it says on TV.com guide on the aforementioned Boston Legal episode:
"On the night that this originally aired, Erica Gimple, who played Samantha Fried on this episode, was playing Elizabeth Stone on the House episode "Failure To Communicate" during its original airing." |

Need to Know:
It was so nice to see Julie Warner in this episode. I fell in love with her as a result of a particular scene in Doc Hollywood.
After finally getting her back House decides to dump her. Perhaps Wilson is right when he said that House likes to be alone.
This was another appearance by Currie Graham as Mark and the reason I mention this is that I finished this episode yesterday afternoon. Later at night in the two other shows that he has a recurring role in, Desperate Housewives (in the episode Silly People) and Boston Legal (in the episode Helping Hands). Quite remarkable seeing him in three different shows in such a short time. In the Boston Legal episode it featured an appearance by Michael J Fox who had starred in the aforementioned Doc Hollywood alongside Julie. |

Distractions:
Superb as House proves an old rival at medical school wrong about his new drug on migraines.
Poor old Cuddy gets caught in the middle of it all as House's rival wrongly thought she sets him up.
Like the music in the locker room.
Wilson suggested to House, out of jest that he should get a hooker to get out of the confrontation with his rival. Surprisingly at the end it seems House did exactly just that.
Noticed in the preview for next week, Cameron Richardson, who was a regular in the short-lived series Point Pleasant which remarkably made its debut on 7 at midnight yesterday 20 and a half hours before Distractions started on 10. |

Damn Lumbar Puncture!
Good episode though. House had a good disguise and I imagine would have been quite annoyed with two doctor's talking to him. Loved the locker scene. Amazing that House is still able to solve the case when a migrain has reduced him to the floor. |

Skin Deep:
As mentioned before I am also seeing Cameron Richardson (Alex) in Point Pleasant. Cameron is very convincing in character.
I really did not like this episode as a result of the incest between father and daughter (coincidentally after finishing this episode I finished with Funland which also dealt with an incestuous relationship) and that Alex is really a boy.
Hours after finished watching this episode saw Tom Verica (Martin) in Die Hard 2 on 7. |

Yeah, this one was disgusting. Im not totally convinced that a lack of testosterone would make someone appear normally as a female. Particularly since a lack of oestrogene (how do you spell that?) makes males' bones weak and strips them of their sex drive. That lady was very mean for a child welfare worker. Must have had a hangover or something.
Foreman is increasingly annoying with each episode.
Still good to watch though. |

It spelt as oestrogens.
Yesterday more than 24 hours after finishing Skin Deep, saw the New Captain Scarlet episode which was also called Skin Deep. |
