Last night Grey's Anatomy returned to 7. Not to mention that it is a nice companion piece to House on 10.

Let It Be:
Quite emotional storylines as a couple who are friends to Derek and Addison.
George had a narrow escape when a man falls down on the streets missing falling on him for a couple of seconds.
Preston and Christina has a very funny first date as it got interrupted when they attended to someone choking in the restaurant.
We found out that Bailey is pregnant (in yet another of those situation where if you are preganant in real like, you have to be preganant on the show as well).
Very sad about that old couple with the wife dying and each of the spouses knowing about it but at the same time each does not know the other knows about it. That's blissful ignorance for you and perhaps better that way.
Now something to say about Meredith I think she looks really sexy with that bandage on her forehead.

Part of the theme of returning shows, I like to note that Grey's Anatomy is the second show (after Veronica Mars) that I watched that has return to Australian TV in the month prior to the return of Doctor Who on the ABC (the month having started on June 8 since The Christmas Invasion will be shown on July 8th).

Thanks For The Memories:
It's Thanksgiving and one would have expected that there would be a break from the usual drama at the hospital except that eveyone except Izzie and Preston ended up in the hospital.
Very surprising where George's father got shot at.
Very sad case about Colby McKee who wakes up after 16 years only to find out his wife has really moved on. Quite understandable why he would go through with the operation.
Like the song at the end and Meredith's line of still having the courage to stand as a reason to celebrate life.

The next episode on July 3 is TV WEEK's highlight of the day.

Much Too Much:
Quite awkward case with Meredith's recent one night stand. She really isn't getting a break on this.
Alex cheats on Izzie and she finds out about it.
Eew. After being told he can't drink watch Mr Martin drinks from the toilet.
After Cristina gets a key for Burke's place, she shows him hers and it is as messy as my room.
Quite a emotional impact of the mother giving birth to quintulets.

Next week's episode features Rosanna Arquette. How convenient that I happen to be seeing her sister Patricia in Medium. As I always liked Rosanna I can't wait to see her in that episode.

Owner of a Lonely Heart:
It is absolutely lovely seeing Rosanna although she is not as dangerous as the ads made her out to be.
Shocking that her character swallowed four blades and then a light bulb.
Quite an awkward moment between Izzie and Olivia in the lift.
Quite funny George's response to Olivia being squirmish with leeches.
Sad case of one of the quints dying and it had to be on Izzie's watch.
Funny when Izzie's new dog chased George.
Quite nice choice of songs used for this episode.

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer:
For the second time in a row the title sequence does not appear.
Hard to believe that Cristina is Jewish.
Derek being told by the Tim's family that his name Shepherd is a sign from God. Gee that is a lot to live up to and really looked bad on him given what happened to Tim's brain.
Funny seeing Meredith helping Alex with his boards which leads to everyone knowing and helping him with it including Izzie!!!
Very good seeing George telling off Mrs Shelton's family.
The songs were great especially "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear" at the end.

Begin the Begin:
Could not believe the author was in hospital because he ate his novel.
Some weeks after last seeing him in Supernatural on 10 comes Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Denny Duquette. Quite a nice interplay between him and Katherine Heigl.
Bex being a girl is revealed that she may be a boy (and I distinctly heard her say yes on the prospect of being a boy). This exact same situation was shown in the House episode Skin Deep which was on 10 last month.
Funny when Cristina was staring at the sleeping pregnant Bailey on the plane. Very sneaky of her catching the plane to go toIdaho.
Nice final scene of Meredith, Izzie and George in the bathroom eating pizza.

Tell Me Sweet Little Lies:
Love Meredith's line of being a liar until proven honest.
George or the dog part was funny.
I admit that Naomi did not endear to me but that was before the explanation of the way she is.
Didn't mind Sophie's singing.
I find myself being unsympathetic to the nurses as they go on strike due to their attitude.
Suprised the Shepherds gets the dog. I guess Derek saying "I love dogs" in the reprise was a vital clue on what was going to happen to the dog.
New timeslot of 8:30pm from next week, my sister for one is delighted with this new time for the program.

Yesterday I saw James Pickens Jr in The West Wing episode Full Disclosure. The funny thing about this is that it came two episodes after Kate Burton had also appeared in that show which was on the ABC the previous week in the episode Slow News Day. One can only speculate whether their appearances on The West Wing had anything to do with their casting in Grey's Anatomy.

Meanwhile the sexual tension between McDreamy and Meredith is TV WEEK's What's Hot on TV, asking whether they are going to get it on.

Break on Through:
Amazing how the picket line has been used as a metaphor about crossing the line.
Surprised and delighted to see L Word star Leisha Hailey. The L Word is about lesbians and as TV.com pointed out whether it is coincidental or not another character, the daughter of the DNR patient is a lesbian.
Did not expect that George would join the picket line. Then again should be surprise that he would be a union man since he is Irish.
Always nice to see Kali Rocha.
Directed by David Paymer. Funnily enough he also directed the Medium episode Knowing Her which was on 10 some weeks ago.
Always lovely to see June Lockhart.
I like Izzie's green coat.
Here is a shock, Izzie has a daughter. Won't be surprised if she turns up in a later episode.
Izzie makes a convincing distinction between being a mother and a mum.
Funny that George passed the picket line twice.
Cristina makes an apology. That is something you don't see everyday.
I so wish I was George in the scene of him lying on the bed with Izzie and Meredith.

Absolutely stunned by the preview for next week. I had no idea the Code Black which 7 had been promoting these past weeks is about Grey's Anatomy.

It's The End of the World:
Wow what a beginning of George's dream. That is all I have to say about that.
Bailey comes back because the interns drove off two residents during her absence. I assume that included Sydney from last week's Break On Through which is odd since she seems to get on with them more or less.
Funny seeing George hugging Bailey.
Eew....Bailey's water being broken over George's shoes.
Christina Ricci appears and is credited as "Special Guest Star" (unlike Rosanna Arquette in Owner of a Lonely Heart). She is superb and found out from Who Magazine that she got an Emmy nomination as a result of this role. Well deserved.
Funny the way Alex tried to get Mrs Carlson to stop screaming. Also funny is Cristina saying that she had healthy lungs.
Oh my what a way to meet Bailey's husband, Tucker Jones.
Former Early Edition star Kyle Chandler guest stars and he is as charming as ever.
Funny seeing the sandwich on Izzie's knee.
Eew... the sight of Tucker's brain.
What a very tense last scene as Meredith ended up touching the bomb after Hannah ran off.
The preview for next week is WOW.

Who Magazine has an interview with Chandra Wilson who says the only thing she has in common with Bailey is that they are both mothers.

In TV WEEK's list of Top Ten Comebacks of people in entertainment who have made a successful comeback in their careers, Patrick Dempsey for Grey's Anatomy came in second place. (he was beaten in first place by Stefan Dennis from Neighbours).

(As We Know It):
Could not believe that Izzie laughed when mentioning that Meredith could die from the bomb.
Upon seeing Loretta Devine's name in the credits wasn't surprise that Richard had an anxiety attack. After all a reason had to be invented for Adele to come to the hospital.
Funny when Cristina told Dylan Young to mind his own business as she tells what is currently going on between her and Burke.
That explosion really came out of nowhere and shocked that Dylan was killed from it.
Cristina and Izzie gives a very briused Meredith a shower. Looks like George's dream in the previous episode was a premonition albeit a very pretty one.
Preview for next week: George finally tells Meredith that he loves her. Definitely something to look forward to.

Who Magazine has a feature of where the stars of Grey's Anatomy before the show. Unbelievable is that Ellen Pompeo had played homicidal characters in two episodes of Law & Order and TR Knight had played Mozart in a stage version of Amadeus. Interestingly for Katherine Heigl it was that of her first starring role in the movie My Father the Hero. Remarkably (or should that be deliberately) her regular stint on Roswell was not mentioned. I thought it would have been worth a mention since her character in both Grey's Anatomy & Roswell are both named Izzie.

The next episode on August 28 gets four stars from the magazine and it reveals who the man who has been dubbed "McSteamy" really is.
