Sex Kills:
The father was played Howard Hesseman he was the lead of the comedy series Head of the Class I got to know about him from the movie Private Lessons (which I love due Sylvia Kristel).

As mentioned before I am also seeing Cameron Richardson (Alex) in Point Pleasant. |
As with Cameron Richardson in the previous episode, this episode also featured someone who had appeared on the Point Pleasant episode on 7, 20 1/2 hours before House. In this case it was Adam Busch doing a guest stint on both shows. In House he plays a boy with a bikini mum or step mum, this was never made clear. If it had been my mum I would probably feel the same way in getting that medication.
I am already with Greg Grunberg (Ronald) as he is a regular on Alias.
Funny when House says it was hugely manipulative in contrast to Cuddy saying it was a little manipulative with Amy meeting Ronald about using his wife's heart to save her father.
I wonder if Wilson left or kicked out after finding out that his wife had an affair.
Much better than the previous episode Skin Deep.
The next episode of House on June 28 gets three stars from Who Magazine. |

Clueless:
It was so funny when Cameron said that a threesome can help to improve a marriage.
Even though Wilson suggested that his maid come to House's place to clean up, I really did not expect to see her there when House came back to find wooden box or chest as she called it.
We learn that House used to live in Egypt.
Funny that Cameron gets in the men's room which was followed later on with House, Forman and Chase being in the ladies room to find Maria.
Amazing how House finds out how Maria poisoned her husband. However we do not know for sure why she did it.
The episode ends with House deleting the message to Wilson about the apartment he wanted getting a better offer from someone else. He has to call back to match the new price if he still wants it but House listened to it and deletes it. Wonder why he did that since he told Wilson at the beginning of the episode he did not think the arrangement was working.
A great episode, definitely better than some of the previous ones. |

Obviously House likes having company even though he pretends not to. He knows that having other people around is annoying, and is actually annoyed by them, but his humanity compels him to seek companionship.
That guy with the hole to breath through was a little freaky.
I didn't expect the housekeeper to show up. Imagine how annoying it would be to come home and find everything rearranged. I don't see why Wilson should have any responsibility to keep her employed. |

and Wilson's a good cook............I'm sooooooooo addicted to this show.........soooooooo different to Blackadder and it freaks out my friends when I show them House with a pommy accent......I liked when they were on the Grammys and the guy from Scrubs was with Hugh and thought his accent was a fake so started doing his own.....Hugh's gotten better as he's gotten older |

House on July 19 comes fifth place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day.
By the way I found the ad for this week's episode to be very funny. |

Shame about that ad. It probably would have been the funniest House ever if they hadn't spoiled it. White Board! HA The Dandruff and the elevator arrival! HAHAHA.
I liked the analogy with the house on fire. |

Safe:
Six nights prior to this episode was shown 10 had screened the Smallville episode called......Unsafe. Funny how 10 shown episodes from two different shows each meaning the opposite to the other.
Now I knew that Michelle was going to be here but it was quite a surprise that playing her mum was Mel Harris. A long time ago she was a regular in the TV show thirtysomething, the reason I mention this is because at the same time Safe was on, 7 shown the Prison Break season 1 finale Flight which featured her thirtysomething co-star Patricia Wettig. The bizarreness does not end there because Harris' on-screen husband in thirtysomething was played Ken Olin, Wettig's real life husband. Therefore it was the battle of the wives on that particular night on Australian TV,
The song played at Melinda's operation and Wilson waiting outside was nice. The latter was very funny which was soon followed with Wilson complaining about the dishes and that bit with the cane.
Melinda's dad does not seem to do very much since of the two parents much of the focus is being given to the mum.
Shocked seeing the twitch that Melinda got.
The elevator scene was very tense and enjoyable.
The episode ends with House and Wilson watching Vertigo. Keen viewers would have noticed that Wilson has a poster of the movie in his office.
Michelle was superb in this episode.

Vertigo was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. In fact I only saw the movie for the first time some weeks ago.
From IMDb:
"Complex story about a San Francisco detective and his psychological troubles with fear of heights and obsession over a woman." |

All In:
When I saw the name Laura Allen in the credits I thought the name looked familiar and then when I saw her I knew who she is - she from The 4400.
Loved what Cuddy was wearing.
Loved House's reaction to what Cameron was wearing.
Fun to see House talking to Wilson on the phone while Wilson was playing cards with Cuddy.
House says to Chase "Surprised you didn't" on why Chase didn't call Cuddy right away was probably a reminder to the audience of Chase ratting out to Vogler last season.
Amazing just as all seems lost for the boy that House finds the answer just a couple of minutes from the end. |

Im glad they did something new with this episode. The constant format was becoming repetitive. Also good to make the hospital seem real.
It's odd that House could SMASH a PADLOCK with his cane. Looks like it could be made of metal or something. He must have decided on a titanium cane. The writers must have noticed this problem and made an entire episode for him to need a new cane.
I bet he can deflect bullets with that thing.
Either that or the hospital cant choose a lock for crap.
That kid's eyes were way too far apart. |

Sleeping Dogs Lie:
First new episode in three weeks. Ironically just as fresh episodes are back, Absolute Power starring Hugh Laurie's old comedy partner Stephen Fry had its series final on the ABC during the second half of this episode.
While this was not a bad episode it is not one I enjoyed that much.
The issue between Cameron and Forman over an article didn't really interest me.
Max says that she and Hannah has the same blood type. Talk about compatibility in a relationship.
If I was in Max's place I would still go through with the operation even if I knew I was going to be dumped.
Laughed when Wilson called House, "General House".
Not bad the subplot about the girl and her mother.
The mark on Hannah's arm was disturbing.
During the last ad break I flicked to Channel 7 briefly when I caught Megan Gale in one of her ads.
Ok back to House - Max knew she was going to be dumped and she now thinks Hannah won't dump her since she has saved her life. We can only wonder if she is right.
Oh my Forman was so cold telling Cameron that they are only colleagues and not friends and see no need for an apology.
The episode began with Hannah having trouble getting to sleep and it ended with House being asleep. What a way to bookend the episode. |

Well well. An episode about the evil of Redheads and Lesbianism. Never thought I'd see that.
House seems to be getting to just a soap opera for me. Every episode someone gets unimaginably ill, House is uninterested untill he is given all the info, they can't figure out what is wrong, their medicine makes the patient worse, then a little better and they wrap it up with a life threatening medical operation. The only things that seems to change are the medical mumbo jumbo (which I don't understand and don't even bother to listen to anymore) and the conflict between the doctors. This episode the conflict was the article. Almost boring and doesn't add anything to my enjoyment. Now they are going to be at each other for a few eps. Ughh
Foreman ALWAYS says something about his blackacity. Chase had very little to do in this one. He should have gone on holiday or something.
They replaced the Lumbar Puncture with the WakeColonoscopy.
They can't seem to make up their minds between House being the all knowing Star of thge show and a real person. Sometimes they'll do an episode about him and addiction and other times he can speak and read Mandarin and Indian and play piano and predict everything and walk without his cane and still have time to ride his motorbike.
Quality seems to be falling. They need to lose this constant structure. |
