Here is a curio, the Doctor says the word "new" twice consecutively when saying "New New York" and "New new Doctor",

I love it when a show knows what people are saying about it. It just adds something to it.

I actually didn't like it as much as the others. I loved the chemistry between Rose and the Doc, but I didn't care much for Cassandra. And all that flying into different bodies became really annoying.

PS My dad has made me point out how unrealistic the passing on of the disinfectant was.

Perhaps all those 'cures' were bacteria that killed off the diseases. That way the spreading of disease could be the same as the spreading of cure.

Thank goodness the cats thought of that. Phew Rolling Eyes

It wasn't a brilliant episode to open the new seson with. It was OK, and Billy was brilliant as "Cassandra", but other than that it was, well, average.

Actually watched it again on DVD, and my second/third viewings of this story are far more favourable then the first. I really enjoyed Billie Piper in this one, her acting as Cassandra in Rose's body was superb,as was David Tennant ... I wish there was more of the Duke of Manhattan he appeared to be a fun character, and I liked the Cat Nuns (one of the best alien species we've seen in a while)
The ending admittedly was a bit soppy but I liked it. All in all, it's bit of a gem for mine.
