Well I'll be down in Melbourne for the next couple of rounds... would like to think the Pies will get up for at least one win while I'm there.

Was going to be down for the Carlscum match as well but a mate went and decided to get married that day. I wish people would look at the footy draw when deciding these things. I missed the 2002 GF for the same reason.

Would have rather watched the 2002 GF and missed the 2003 GF. What a depressing day that was Sad

If they play like they did when they played West Coast, Geelong and Port then yes they can. If they put in another lame arse effort like the last 3 weeks then I'm expecting they'll cop another caning. It is Buck's 250th game so with any luck they'll do it for him.

Freo can be a bit of a hit and miss affair to can't they? Very hard to tip this year Freo. They should win it comfortably but you never know do you?

I'm tipping the Pies by about 4 goals. Then again, I never tip against my own team so read into that what you will.

Nathan Buckley came from the Port Magpies and although I was too young to see him in the flesh I have watched videos with him playign and he was bloody brilliant - he won a Magarey (the SANFL equivelant of the Brownlow) before he was picked up by Brisbane

I remember when he was at Brisbane... he won the Rising Star award that year. He's a champion there's no doubt about it. His game against the Swans this year after coming back from the early season op and hamstring problems was awesome. I hope he goes on to play 300 games, and that he can finally get that premiership medal he so richly deserves.

Stoked I'm going to be at the G for his 250th Smile

Even though I didn't tip them, it was fantastic to see Footscray thump Brisbane. I'd love to see them miss out on the finals.

Well I'll be the first to admit that the Dockers had more class than us on Sunday, and the boys tried really hard for Bucks in his 250th, particularly Licca.

BUT THE UMPIRING WAS A FUCKING JOKE!

When the WHOLE Ponsford Stand gets on their feet as one and claps an umpire for giving a free kick, you know there's something wrong. All three of the bastards should be dumped and not seen again until they agree to bring their guide dogs and canes out on to the field with them.

Proud of the boys for the effort but I have to say that I'm absolutely shattered right now. To be 16 points up with 5 minutes left and go down by a goal is just devastating.

How good is Harry O'Brien going to be? That goal of his today was pure class. Ben Davies looked the goods once again. If the youngsters continue to improve this much we could go alright next year if we cull some of the dead wood and trade/draft well.

We better beat the scum next week

arrgghh! 7 points!

we deserved to win that, because we played really well compared to some of our earlier games.

the third quarter fight back was great but we should have won.

if only we had had pickett and cornes....

btw, i was at the Port Magpies v. South Adelaide match in the SANFL yesterday and the port cheer squad were using quotes from Doctor Who:

e.g. I want my mummy, You are the weakest link, goodbye bzzzzt! and exterminate!
