Yesterday:
Jake with his face brings into mind the Cher movie Mask which I only saw months ago.
An ad of Sandra Oh's movie Under The Tuscan Sun was shown at the start of the first ad break.
This episode feature two people who it seems were always going to appear inevitably: Mark and Meredith's dad.
Derek must feel really good with that punch.
That final scene looks like it would have far reaching consequences. |

What Have I Done To Deserve This?:
We see the circumstances of what happened between George and Meredith.
Instead of Meredith as usual, George does the narration and he did it very well.
Ann Cusack appears. I previously saw her in the Ghost Whisperer episode Melinda's First Ghost just four months ago. Didn't really care about her storyline but did think it was mean that she left her fiancee just as he was about to undergo an operation.
It was nice to see Denny back.
The topic of karma comes up and was not surprised that an ad of My Name Is Earl was shown during the ad break.
Surprised to see George staying with Cristina and Burke. |

Band Aid Covers the Bullet Hole:
Meredith back with the narration.
Alex said that George looks like a hobbit as a result of his haircut. Come to think of it George does look a bit like Sean Astin.
Mr Gibson says that Addison looks like Catherine Deneuve. Funnily enough I browsed through a letter in TV WEEK which says exactly that, not so long ago.
Horrifying sight of fork in Mrs Booker's neck.
Teddy Dunn (Duncan Kane in Veronica Mars) guest stars and he has a very nasty looking finger and unbelievable what he does with it.
Meredith tells Derek about she and George. I thought he took it much better than expected.
Like the song at the end. |

| Callie being George's new squeeze is TV WEEK's What's Hot on TV saying he deserved to be adored. Given what happened recently I guess I would have to agree. |

Superstition:
Quite funny that Meredith and Addison pretend that they are friends.
Quite like Nikki. Too bad she didn't make it.
Overall I thought much of this episode was bland. It only seemed enjoyable towards the end. |

The Name of the Game:
So funny the way Meredith found out that she has a sister. Then she finds out that she has another sister. Can't imagine anyone going through life without being aware of having two sisters let alone one.
Quite a nice thing what George did for Meredith in his conversation with Thatch.
Funny this rivalry in class between Cristina and the chief.
What a shock to find out where Callie lives.
Chris O'Donnell appears towards the end of this episode that I have forgotten that he was going to be there. |

Blues For Sister Someone:
Upon watching this episode I realise that Patrick Dempsey, Kate Burton and Chris O'Donnell have soimething in common other than Grey's Anatomy and that is they all appeared in the eighth and final season of The Practice.
To my surprise and delight former John Doe star Jayne Brook guest stars. In fact this episode came on a few hours after I finished watching the Jericho episode Fallout which features one of Jayne's John Doe co-star Sprague Grayden as a regular. Her presence in this episode was absolutely lovely and my favourite bit with her is when she tasted the donut.
It was nice to see Denny finally on his feet. |

Damage Case:
Like the songs used for this very sad and moving episode.
John Cho guest stars. That is a nice surprise.
It's good that George is finally talking to Meredith.
I was watching this with my sister and niece and my niece said that Meredith is pretty. Well I certainly agree. |

The season 2 finale on October 30 gets four stars from Who Magazine and it is its "PICK OF THE WEEK".
Reviewer Deborah Grunfeld promised that it has a great point that makes you come back for the next season. |

Losing My Religion:
I have not lost my religion as that is just the title of this season finale.
It is a very touching finale and was very surprise to see a montage of the show as part of the Chasing Cars song. I love this song and coincidentally it was on the radio just a short while ago.
The season finale alone meant that it was worth watching the show. |

The fictional Seattle Grace Hospital featured in the show got a mention in last night's O.C. episode Cold Turkey on 10.
From Wikipedia:
"In the third episode of season 4 on The O.C., Dr. Neil Roberts is offered a new job. He tells his daughter the offer is from a hospital known for being "wonderfully quirky", he says the name of the hospital is Seattle Grace Hospital."
Wonder if this means that there is going to be a Grey's Anatomy-O.C. crossover. Probably not likely given the fact that in the States, Grey's Anatomy is shown on ABC while The O.C. is on FOX. In fact both programs are shown at the same time, hence the reference. |

Anyone remember a series called "St.Elsewhere"? (Amongst others).
It was another one of these "hospital/medical" shows that was just as popular in it's day as "Grey Anatomy". It even had a 'tie-in" with the comedy series "Cheers", both being set in the same city.
I've managed to miss EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of "Greys Anatomy".
Never watched it.
Ever!
And I doubt I've missed a thing.
Seriously folks, after you've seen a dozen or so of these "hospital" dramas they all merge together. |
