Realised since my last post that the double episode next Thursday clashes with Jericho on 10. Looks I am going to have to record Jericho.
Talk about next Thursday's double, it gets four stars from Who Magazine. |

| Bones on October 5 comes fourth place in TV WEEK's Pick of the Day. It says that with the sexual tension between Bones and Seeley it has become the Grey's Anatomy of crime dramas. |

The Man In The Bear:
The delayed episode 4.
Like Alicia Coppola in The Girl In The Fridge last week, Alex Carter (Dr Rigby) has also appeared in Jericho. It was funny when he said that he was no policeman because he played exactly that in Point Pleasant.
So funny everyone was dancing with Bones.
Love the rivarly between Zach and Hodgins over a delivery lady. Figured out shortly beforehand that she was not going to choose either of them.
The stonehence type circle took me by surprise.
The ads made Charlie out to be someone dangerous only he is nothing of the sort upon watching the episode. |

The Man In The Fallout Shelter:
Angela looked cute as an elf.
Got taken aback when Hodgins mentioned watching reruns of Firefly.
Seeley said why isn't anyone worried that Santa is in charge. My thoughts exactly.
We find out that Seeley has a kid and Bones has a brother.
Hodgins mentioned the Grinch. Coincidentally the Grinch was seen in the Family Guy episode A Hero Sits Next Door which came on after Bones.
Funny when Bones when she said that she should have started by saying Merry Christmas.
The Christmas tree hologram is lovely.
A very beautiful Christmas episode.
Incidentally after seeing this episode I read the article about the making of its Doctor Who counterpart The Christmas Invasion in DWM season 2 companion.
The Woman At The Airport:
Another familiar Buffy face - Harry Groener.
Absolutely stunned with Penny Marshall appearing in this episode and that turned out to be embarrassing.
Angela asked Zach if he heard of Michael Jackson and Joan Rivers and he replied one he has heard of the other he will have to look up. Wonder which was which.
Surprised to hear that Nick played a terrorist on 24.
I felt queasy towards the end because of this talk of surgical procedures.
Both episodes were directed by Greg Yaitanes. |

Last night I watched the Children of Dune mini-series and coincidentally it was directed by Greg Yaitanes. Remarkable timing. |

The Woman In The Car:
The interview of Bones in the beginning was very funny as well as Agent Pickering asking whether she saw her on television in which Bones replied she does not know what she watched on television.
Got confused when Bones said that it was her first TV interview since she was interviewed alongside Penny Marshall in the previous episode The Woman At The Airport. TV.com provided this explanation:
"Brennan said that this was her first TV interview. This episode was supposed to air before last week's, when she was on "Fox and Friends" with Penny Marshall but it was aired out of sequence."
Another revelation with one of the characters as it is revealed that Angela had a husband.
Shocked when Booth got that small package.
Now I wonder who the person that Bones talked to on the phone that got Pickering so scared. From the tone of Pickering's voice it sounded like she was talking to the President but that is just my guess.
Another solid episode following the impressive three episodes from last week. |

The Superhero In The Alley:
Hodgins mentioned Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica. Didn't expect to hear all those sci fi movies/shows mentioned all at once.
Judith Hoag, original April O'Neill in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Nice to see her again.
Well known Who fan Neil Gaiman gets mentioned.
The ending with the funeral was beautifully done. |

The Woman in the Garden:
Yet another role I see Dey Young in.
Wow the way Bones beat up the gang leader.
We find out more about Bones' experience in El Salvador and it is compelling.
This is the second episode in a row that features a funeral.
Next week's episode looked very interesting. |

The Man On The Fairway:
My favourite parts of this episode are the following:
-Hodgins keep on saying that he is in.
-Bones cheekily says they are continue to work on the other body behind Goodman's back.
-Zach being very enthuasiastic about looking at the escort ads. |

Playing Jesse in this episode was Michael E Rodgers who in a broadcasting coincidence was in the Veronica Mars episode Green-Eyed Monster shown on 10 the night after this Bones episode was on 7. |

Two Bodies in The Lab:
Oh my I got quite a surprise when Adam Baldwin all of a sudden turned up in this episode. He of course worked with David before in the last few episodes of Angel not to mention playing Jayne in Firefly & Serenity.
Wow what a scene when Bones got shot at and that exploding fridge.
Soon figured out that Kenton was the baddie.
What a lovely final scene of Bones and Booth watching TV in the hospital.
The Woman in The Tunnel:
I did not find this as strong as the previous episode but it was still enjoyable.
I guess my favourite part of it was when Angela asked Harold to describe the blonde woman that he saw.
From next week Bones moves to 8:30pm. |

The Skull in the Desert:
I really felt for Angela as her boyfriend got killed and had a tear in my eye towards the end of the episode.
Really like the song "Rain" by Patty Griffin which was played when Danni was found. |

The Man With The Bone:
Branson Rose's (Robert Foxworth) character description not to mention his name sounds like Richard Branson.
The topic of pirates comes up in this episode. Coincidentally this morning someone sent me the DVD of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
This episode was pretty much OK. |

The Girl In The Graft:
Although promoted as the season final, this is actually third to last episode of the season which means we are going to have to wait for the final two.
Anyway it is sad that Laura is dying as a result of a diseased body part that she was given. |
