It sure does. The penultimate episode of the season was shown last night in Queensland and NSW. If you are not in either of those two states then you have to wait until next week. The ending for this episode is definitely worth it.

Last night I saw Silas Weir Mitchell (Haywire) in My Name Is Earl episode Quit Smoking. Like Prison Break he was in a prison cell in this My Name Is Earl episode.

Meanwhile the season finale of Prison Break on July 11 gets four stars from Who Magazine.

The season finale tomorrow night would not be the final time that Australian viewers would be seeing the cast of the series for the time being. This is because The Great Outdoors meets the cast of the series and visits its location in the program on Monday July 17 7:30pm.

With the first season over, the latest issue of Who Magazine has an interview with Wentworth Miller. The first question he was asked was:
"You're on the run, so what's in store for the next season?"
His response was: "I hope it will be a radical interpretation of the show. The question becomes: do you care enough about these characters to follow them outside the walls? I hope you do."

I certainly will stick around to see what happens next.

Caroline Reynolds was played by Patricia Wettig. A long time ago she was a regular in the TV series thirtysomething. The reason I mention this is because at the same time season 1 finale Flight was on, 10 shown the House episode Safe which guest starred her thirtysomething co-star Mel Harris. The bizarreness does not end there because Harris' on-screen husband in thirtysomething was played Ken Olin, Wettig's real life husband. Therefore it was the battle of the wives on that particular night on Australian TV.

Season 2 won't arrive in Australia until next year however in the latest issue of Who Magazine has a sneak peek into the season which is that of a pic of an interesting scene. Worth a look anyone who are impatient in waiting for it to arrive on 7.

Found out from the Optus Guide that Prison Break will debut on FOX8 on Thursday September 7 7:30pm with repeats on Sundays at 3pm. Quite surprised that FOX8 got the show very quick since 7 only finished showing the first season just last month.

Who Magazine has an interview with Robert Knepper (T-Bag). He says that he is nothing like T-Bag (thank goodness) and that he and his co-stars are like the Rat Pack in that they enjoy each other's company when they hang out.

As season 2 will begin two days from now, Prison Break was one of the shows previewed in the What's On 07 liftout in the Sydney Sunday Telegraph and in Richard Clunes' review in the accompanying TV guide. However they both got it wrong when they mentioned the Vice-President's brother. If people had watched the final episode of the first season, they will be aware that Vice President Reynolds has become President Reynolds due to the very sudden death of her predecessor. So it should be the President's brother. Get with the program people.

Manhunt:
I was shocked to see Lawrence Steadman being played by someone else Jeff Perry as his predecessor John Billingsley has since signed on to the new show The Nine. (Be interesting to see if 9 gets this show. Wink )
The biggest shock of all came at the end with Veronica being killed off. I was absolutely speechless and sad when I saw her death.

Subdivision:
My favourite part of this episode was when C-Note and Sucre suddenly turned up at that house.
I have to say I was so sure that Haywire was going to kill that old woman but didn't, taking her picture instead!
The very lovely Diana Scarwid is here whom I last seen in her regular role in Wonderfalls.

As well as Prison Break I have also been seeing Rockmond Dunbar (C-Note) in Earth 2 which is on Sci Fi just hours before Prison Break on 7.

Buried:
Oh my the ad led us to believe that Tweener was going to be the one to turn on his former in-mates but in the end it turned out to be Sucre.
Somehow should not be surprised that Governor Tancredi gets disposed of once he knew about Kellerman.

The next episode on March 21 comes fourth place in TV WEEK's Pick of the Day.
