I just found this which I found to be really good:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=dwxMwDfSLMg

So does anyone think a Doctor Who-Star Trek crossover is a good idea?

Personally I think it would be interesting to see if a crossover between the two would be done for real but this probably won't happen anytime in the forseeable future.

(1.) It's a stupid idea.

(2.) It's alreadty been done twice that I know of. (a.) Iin a computer generarted comic some years ago. (Tom Baker meets Next generation if I recall). It was a send-up. (b.) The DWCA also used the idea in a play some time back. ("Look Doctor we're on film"). Tapes are floating around. Quiet amusing.

(3.) Something similiar was suggested as a way to re-start the DW fanchise back in the early ninties. The Doctor would be included as a character in the short lived series "Earth2"; (not the pilot tv movie of the same name from the late 70s early 80s); but this came to nothing for obvious reasons.

(4.) The legal issues involved will NEVER be resolved so a cross-over will NEVER happen. The owners of each franchise will simply not allow it; so dream on.

(5.) Definitely an idea for die-hard fan(atics) only.

(6.) It's a stupid idea. #2.

Nuff said.

Didn't say it was my dream, I just said it would be interesting if it did happen that's all. Justice League is a good example that a crossover of characters from different universes can work.
