Hello,

I can't find any new series gold Daleks in Australia. The ABC Shop deleted them and most other stores only have the classic series Daleks.

I can get three of the new series gold Daleks but at a price. The shipping costs are horrendous.

I have the options of cancelling the order due to a price mix-up, ordering one of these gold Daleks for myself, or ordering all three for a slightly lower shipping cost per Dalek.

I will only order all three if I can find two people willing to buy a Dalek at the high price of $191 each. When these Daleks were in stock at the ABC Shop, the retail price was $139, which is $62 less.

I have been told there won't be another shipment of the "Character Options" Daleks - the new series Daleks - until February or March next year and I want one now. I want, I want, I want, I want it now!

Anyone else hanging for a nice gold Dalek or am I just a nut?

Have you tried the BBC shop? I was on there a couple of days ago, but I didn't notice the price at all.

I found some new series gold Daleks at David Jones in the city. $120. So now I've got one to stay in the box and one to play with. Geez, lucky I'm so rich... not.

I'm wondering why I have started collecting Daleks when I know I can't keep them forever because oneday I will actually die - not regenerate like some - but just plain die and become worm food. What will happen to my Daleks then?

I somehow find the Daleks comforting... like eating chocolate or something.
