This morning 9 showed the penultimate episode Terra Prime which concluded a two parter that began with the previous episode Demons. An interesting thing about this is its guest stars Eric Pierpoint and Harry Groener. Terra Prime originally aired in the States on May 13 2005. Six months after this episode was shown on American television, Pierpoint and Groener both featured in a guest stint in the Medium episode Dead Aim which conversely was shown on Australian TV on 10 earlier this year.
Also Pierpoint was Gary Graham's (Soval) co-star in Alien Nation but don't appear together in this storyline.
Another thing is that Manny Coto who was Enterprise's showrunner for the final season had previously created the shortlived Odyssey 5 which starred Peter Weller, the villain Paxton in Demons/Terra Prime. Weller was not the only Odyssey 5 star to appear on Enterprise. Another Odyssey 5 star Leslie Silva appeared earlier in the season in Daedalus playing Danica Erickson.
Odyssey 5 is one of the shows that will be shown in the upcoming Sci Fi Channel. The series has not been previously shown on Australian TV. |
