Okay, this is the Series Three forum. Am I allowed to post a spoiler for, er, I don't know how far into the series?

Of course you can - as long as you plainly say it's a spoiler (which you have in the subject).

People who don't want to know about spoilers will exercise self-control and not read it. (Maybe.)

Okay, I'm not sure if it's absolutely true, but apparently it's American, it's handsome and it shares its name with a Pirate of the Carribean ....

Yep, it'sbeen stated publicly stated on a few occasions. We just don't know when or for how many episodes.
