I'll keep it short as I'm two weeks late and the circus has moved on:

Was I watching 'Doctor Who' as I know it - No.
Was it a brilliant episode of fun and drama - Yes.

Therein lies the dilemma for a lot of us.

The fact we're still talking about it after two more episodes shows the circus hasn't moved on! It's the new Who's Happiness Patrol ....

Hey gotta ask. Did the Monster remind anyone of "Fat Bastard" from the Austin Powers films?

Yep. Smile

I think there was a bit of Bubbles de Vere (from Little Britain) in there, too.

Hey, In World War Three the Doctor had Mickey put the virus online to destroy any mention on him. So, how did Ursula's site exist?

maybe the virus was a one time thing and the site was put up afterwards.
maybe LINDA had a member that was a computer genius and blocked the virus.
maybe they had a firewall.
maybe they used norton antivirus.
maybe it did erase all the times that ursula mentioned him but left everything else so ursula could just put in pronouns and things.

I don't remember if Elton mentioned WWIII or not but if he didnt then it could be set before WWIII.

It's set sometime after The Christmas Invasion.

If they used Norton, maybe the computer would constantly crash and it was off line at the time.
