By far one of my favourite Doctor Who stories.

I have a love for the abstract and this was a very abstract audio but with a solid plot, likeable characters and well cast it had me listening from start to finish. The casting was wonderful and for one in a audio i could fully picture what was going on. Nicola Brynt gives a good performance and my hat goes off to Colin Baker as my favourite audio Doctor.

Do comment if you've heard this wonderful story.

I love the fact that the Inspector, the Pig and the Doctor are, for all intents and purposes, the Three Little Pigs... so where's the Big Bad Wolf?!?!

I was expecting Peri's monkey to have a bigger role, but thankfully it didn't. She has enough baggage to carry around anyway.

I loved the cliffhanger, which I won't spoil for those who don't know it.

To be honest, I (somewhat shamefully) thought that Toby was, for ages, voiced by Gareth Thomas - who previously has played that Major guy in Storm Warning and Kalendorf in the Dalek Empire series. Consequently I was listening to Dalek War and picturing a pig in command... until I discovered I was wrong.

I also liked the fact that it was never truly explained just what the point of the pig experiments were. If they'd have explained it, it would have ruined the fantastical atmosphere. Which is why I love Paul Magrs, really.

I want to see more from Matthew Sweet.

...Sweet! Boy, he loves his food doesn't he?
