New Venue for Tavern from April

Our current pub for Tavern, the Lansdowne, is becoming too popular with the general public it is crowded and very noisy so for next Tavern we are going to try another venue.
This one is just up City Road in Newton. In fact it is next door to Newton Railway Station and its name is the Town Hall Hotel, 326 King St Newtown. It has an upstairs bistro but also downstairs you can order food over the counter.
I visited it last Friday at 6.45pm and it was not overly crowded and it was a lot quieter than the Lansdowne. Food is dearer but being in heart of Newtown other food choices are available.

So for April’s tavern (6th April) we will gather downstairs at the Town Hall Hotel.
