| The debut of Supernatural season 2 on January 15 is TV WEEK's Pick of the Day. That is good to know as I have high hopes for this season. |

The downside of Supernatural being in that slot is that it clashes with The West Wing on the ABC. Most likely I am going to have to record Supernatural while watching The West Wing.
10 has a website for the show:

Bloodlust:
It was so lovely to see Amber Benson in this episode and was surprised to see her in dark hair and she just happened to be playing a vampire!
The preview for the next episode is very very intriguing and it comes fifth place in TV WEEK's Pick of the Day. |

Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things:
First of all that has be one of the unusual names for an episode that I have ever seen.
Tamara Feldman (Angela) and Leela Savasta (Lindsey) are both gorgeous. Angela is very creepy.
Quite an emotional dialogue by Dean at the end when he realises why he is still alive. |

No Exit:
The villain of this episode is HH Holmes who was a real person whom I was not aware that he actually existed until moments ago.
It's so good that Alona Tal get something more to do as Jo.
So funny when Dean, Sam, Ellen and Jo were silent in the car and when Dean turned on the radio which was playing "Cold as Ice" which was exactly the feeling I got about Ellen.
What a shock on why John never told the boys about Ellen. |

The Usual Suspects:
Linda Blair guest stars. I am familiar what she has been in before but I never imagine seeing her here in Supernatural.
I have to say this is perhaps my favourite of season 2 that I have seen so far.
The next episode on March 5 comes fifth place in TV WEEK's Pick of the Day. |

Crossroad Blues:
My favourite part of this episode was when Dean led the demon in that trap.
The next episode on March 12 comes third place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day and I definitely like what I saw of it in the preview. |

Hunted:
Like the song at the beginning.
So funny when Ava said that she felt awesome after stealing some dead guy's confidential file.
Felt a shock when that gunshot at the motel came out of nowhere.
Had a little laugh when Gordon was surrounded by cops.
The next episode on March 26 comes fourth place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day. |

Playthings:
This episode has a little girl called Tyler with a grandmother called Rose! Someone at Gallifrey thinks this is a reference to Rose Tyler. If you think this is only a coincidence then it would be an amazing one since Tyler was the one who first mentioned Grandma Rose.
Conchita Campbell (Maggie) was/is Samantha Ferris' (Ellen) co-star in The 4400.
It was mentioned that two Vice Presidents stayed at that hotel. Would have been curious to know the names of the Vice Presidents.
Playground scene scary and the drowning scene intense.
A well done episode. |

Found out from orac at the Gallifrey forum that former Crusade star Gary Cole will appear in an episode of Supernatural.
Prior to Crusade, Cole had been the star of the short-lived American Gothic which from the looks of it (as I have not seen a full episode of it) is not unlike that of Supernatural. So it is back to familiar territory for Cole.
Coindentally I saw the American Gothic DVD Region 1 boxset at Galaxy on the weekend but didn't buy it due to the steep price of I think $90. |

| Supernatural returns with new episodes from next week and the next episode on April 23 comes fourth place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day and I found out at the Gallifrey forum that this episode is particularly interesting to us Who fans. |

Nightshifter:
I finally see the Cyberman on that magazine cover which I have known about beforehand and according to Resnick they are called mandroids and were made by the Chinese.
Quite an eerie surprise towards the end and I like the song that was played when the brothers made their escape.
A well done siege story. |

On the topic of Supernatural, a prequel comic book series will shortly be released - running for six issues. Info on the first issue here.
Shortly, in this case, means next week! (2 May release date in the US, should be available from speciality comic shops in Australia by 4 May, barring shipping problems.) |

Houses of the Holy:
Another great episode with Sam and Dean investigating a being who appears to be an angel.
The dialogue at the final scene was a very good way to end the episode.
The next episode according to the voiceover in the preview has online fans giving it a full 10 rating. Can't wait to find out why. |

Roadkill:
Nice to see Tricia Helfer in something other than Battlestar Galactica and she was very good in this episode.
The next episode on May 28 comes third place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day. |

Hollywood Goes Babylon:
I know the significance of the name Babylon but whether it is coincidence or not guest star Gary Cole was the lead for the Babylon 5 spin-off Crusade.
Quite funny when Sam hears about The Gilmore Girls during the tour as I am aware of Jared Padalecki's history with that show although I don't watch it myself.
Overall a very good and very fun episode of bad happenings at a Hollywood set. |
