This morning after watching The Twilight Zone, found out that Fox Classics will start showing I Love Lucy on Monday July 2. Exact time still not yet known.

I have been a Lucy fan as long as I can remember and I look forward to seeing the show again after a long time as it has not been on Australian TV for a long time (although The Lucy Show & Here's Lucy were on some years ago).

Welcome back Lucy.

I prefer her film work through the 30s and 40s.
Lucy has been turning up on the ABC on a regular basis for many years.

Before now, I did not have a chance to comment on any of the episodes that have been shown so far on Fox Classics so here goes.

Ricky Thinks He's Going Bald:
As the title says Ricky thinks he is going bald.
Overall this was not a bad episode but not one I suspect that goes to the near top for the series.
Lucy tries to stop Ricky from worrying about his hair but to no avail despite what she attempts at the end of the episode.

Lucy Becomes a Sculptress:
Lucy decides to explores her artistic side in this episode and it really does not go smoothly.
Poor Fred having to pose for her and it is funny when she had to present a bust of her head to an art critic. Oh my the bust really looks real.

The Indian Show:
Lots of fun seeing Lucy as an Indian in the said show and how she managed to take care of little Ricky at the same time.
The songs at the show were pretty good and funny how Lucy and Ethel when two Indians showed up at the Ricardos.

The Ricardos Change Apartments:
As the title says it is about the Ricardos changing apartments.
Quite funny Ricky's pronounciation of "switching" as "swishing" as well as seeing him go down the slide.
Also funny on how the episode ends.

Change of time:
The voiceover announced from next week (Saturday October 6) that I Love Lucy will change time from 6pm weeknights to 6pm weekends.

In a somewhat confusing message from Fox Classics when announcing they were moving I Love Lucy from 6pm weeknights to 6pm weekends, I have read the episode descriptions for the episodes to be shown on the weekend and I found out that it is actually episodes that Fox Classics had already shown before.

However the forthcoming episodes is still being shown but after midnight on Tuesday to Saturday (exact time varies from morning to morning). This reminds me of when the show was last on the ABC more than a decade ago when it was also early in the mornings.

Well at least I still get to see more of the forthcoming episodes.

Changing the Boys' Wardrobe:
In this episode the girls try to get rid off the boys' worn out clothes but this plan backfired on them.
One of Fred's clothes that Ethel tried to get rid of was a jumper. When Fred wears it on screen it looked very tacky.
