Hollywood star DENNIS HOPPER has reportedly been lined up to star in the next series of British sci-fi series DOCTOR WHO. The Easy Rider star is alleged to be in talks with the BBC show's bosses to make a cameo appearance as a villain after they discovered he was a fan of the cult programme. A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Dennis is a big fan of the show and bosses are really keen to get him on board. "Discussions have been going on for some time but his diary is proving a nightmare to work around. However, everyone is hopeful they can make something work." On Monday (02Jul07), a guest appearance by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue was confirmed.

That's good news, I just hope they don't try to make him unrecognisable under a whole lot of prosthetic make-up.

I wonder if they'll give him a Harley to ride? Wink

I'm told all Harley's are time devices. They're all stuck in 1952.

Quick! Get behind that blast wall, I hear incoming! Crying or Very sad Cool

I don't know about thse star studded line ups. I find that it can turn a program into a "Spot the Star" festival and can take away from away from a show rather than add to it.
