It seems Lego are cashing in on fans from different shows like Star Wars and Harry Potter by making Lego toys. Now with Doctor Who increasing popularity it make me wonder if they ever considered making Doctor Who Lego? There are many fan sites of builds out there, but how cool would it be to have official Doctor Who Lego? Here is the reply from Lego as of this morning...

Dear Miss Von Lichtan,
Thank you for contacting us on 24/07/07 and for your interest in our LEGO® products.

At the moment we do not have a licensing agreement for producing a Doctor Who range, although this might happen in the future.

Thank you again for contacting us. We wish your family many happy hours of creative building with LEGO brand toys in the years to come.

Roberto Saba

Well, the message doesn't seem to rule out the possibility Smile

Smiles,

Izzy (who is also curious if they are going to make a Doctor Who Monopoly game...)

Sounds interesting. I've never been a huge fan of Lego, but I'll buy anything if it's related to Doctor Who!

I'm longing to see how the TARDIS could be realised in Lego - tiny on the outside and huge on the in.

That is very true Laughing I know I would be one of the sad suckers going for the Doctor Who Lego, and not just because I like Lego! I have bought some of the Star Wars Lego because I liked some of the characters, I must admit Embarassed

There's nothing wrong with Lego! Recently I was helping my little brother construct a Lego Hogwarts Express. I had great fun putting Harry in the most ridiculously dangerous places whilst the train was moving (courtesy of my hand). That Harry is such a rebel...

Maybe we'll get a Doctor Who Lego video game like they had with Star Wars (though I doubt it).

Oh, and for those of you who know of him, Lawrence Miles would be the first to queue up for Doctor Who Lego...
