The Doctor will meet Agatha Christie in the 2008 season and Christie is played by Fenella Woolgar, who was in Jekyll written by Steven Moffat*. Other guest stars in the season reported in the following link (which also reveals how Donna gets reunited with the Doctor) are Felicity Kendal (finally doing a Who) and Tim McInnerny:

*Jekyll is not yet shown on Australian TV |

Tim McInnerny - yay!
Agatha Christie - hmm. I'm not too sure about that one. I like Poirot, honestly, but meeting her seems a tad... annoyingly British. I wish they could meet another crime writer though... how about Jimmy McGovern?

The famous missing week of Christie's life. Mark my words, she travelled with The Doctor in that time. |

Mm, such has been postulated on Outpost, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was absolutely correct.
Oh, and the twist at the end of the episode is that the butler did it. |

| I'm unaware that Dame Agatha ever stooped so low as to have the butler be the culprit for any crime. (Suspicion in The Murder of Roger Ackroyd initially fell on the butler, but he wasn't the murderer...). |

No, she didn't, to my knowledge. But I have a feeling that's what Doctor Who will do. I can too easily imagine Tennant going, "The butler, of course! We're supposed to suspect him, but we didn't! There's a lesson in postmodernism for you", or something similar. |

| Coincidentally I finished watching the 2007 season ahead of the ABC broadcast last night and the Doctor mentioned Agatha Christie in the final episode. It would seem that the idea of the Doctor meeting the famous author had already been planned at this point in time. |

No, but she did stoop so low as to put the crucial clue on the last page. Of course! The maid and the butler are brother and sister! Now it makes sense. |
