((sits and fumes for a while!!!))
okay, that's enough. i don't like to swear. but they deserve it!!
i hope ABC does get Torchwood next year, then they could put it on just after the Chaser's war on everyhting.on wednesday nights.. then I'll already have the TV turned ont here and it will be at a decent time for younger veirwers to have turned off, and older veiwers ot be ready!!
must... contact... ABC and beg them, on my metaphorical knees to take up the offer. |

That is for sure.
As it is part of the DW universe, I feel obliged to watch it - although I have yet to watch the two previous episodes. I just cannot seem to get myself into the mood of late to commit 48 minutes at a time to that piece of trash.
However, it may well have some effect or relevance to DW itself, so ultimately, I will have to. Mind you, there are occasions when I find I need to use the same reasoning to persevere with DW itself. |

No need for your tears...
I said: "There are occasions"
I did not say: "constantly"
In any case, perhaps it is less of an affliction and more of a windfall - or perhaps just a realization...? |

Saw an Add for the Torchwood DVD-release,
in the 'Magazine of the Sunday-Telegraph yesterday
'Those of you who still might have your Paper from yesterday 'Check it out!!
& it said quote; (As seen on Channel Ten)
"IF YOU COULDN'T STAY UP TILL MIDNIGHT TO SEE THE REST OF THE SERIES, THEN BUY THE DVD"
TEN are wankers!!,
& the fact is that i don't even have there Channel-Tunned into "My TV"
So when i watched Torchwood, I was actually Doing what was really done back in the Early-days of Tv and Physically Tunning it in every-week
Sorry as i might come across as a prick |

And Torchwood is only the most popular show on BBC Three. The Beeb is apparently facing a spot of bother with budget cuts - maybe TEN couldn't negotiate the price down as they expected?
Still, now that this shmozzlehas come about, maybe it's time to petition the ABC to buy Torchwood (at a hopefully discounted price seeing as its one national broadcaster to another, and if they don't discount, no Australian channel would buy it anyway .... or so I guess) and show it on ABC2. 'Spaced' is only shown on ABC2, so it's not just for repeats.
Come on ABC, your fans need you! |

Here Here!!
So how can we get this petition running? perhaps as a chain letter?
"if you want to see torchwood come back, please send this on to however many of your friends will also want to see it back, then send it back to this address. do NOT send money and yoursignatures will not be used as anything other than a bulk letter to ABC?"
i know the ABC studio in Sydney's Address...
but wait are chain letters legal?
maybe if we each start our own petition, then send them to
ABC Ultimo Centre
700 Harris Street
Ultimo 2007
then we can all also ring the ABC every day on the Network TV no.
(02) 8333 1500
Adress it to the Director: Kim Dalton.
or the managing director:Mark Scott
or the Cheif operating officer:David Pendleton.
all info got form the ABC website and i clicked "contact us"

awesome, but i still think the easiest way is to hassle ABC to the point where they smply HAVE to put the show on, for fear of inciting an angry mob...
but if anyone else decides to start on on that site, please let us know, i'll sighn! |
