Torchwood is coming to UKTV.

In an ad, the words Doctor Who appeared on screen before the letters of the words were rearranged to form Torchwood.

It then revealed that it will debut on UKTV on Tuesday December 11.

The ad was accompanied by a dialogue delivered by John Barrowman as Captain Jack that was used as a voiceover in which he asked whether somebody is behind you in an empty room. (Can't remember which episode this was from.)

I think it's insulting, to the fans How fast UKTV got Torchwood,
But how long it took them to get Series 1 of WHO 'Octobre 2006. Evil or Very Mad

It's December 11 and Torchwood makes its UKTV debut tonight.

Torchwood's schedule at UKTV will clash with Shark on 7. The reason why I mentioned this is that Shark made its debut on 7 on the Monday after the one that Torchwood was last shown on 10 (with Countrycide) before 10 relegated Torchwood to the Wednesday midnight slot.

So the irony is that Shark's debut on 7 narrowly missed out the clash with Torchwood on 10 but Torchwood is now making its debut on UKTV when Shark had already started its run on 7!

As I earlier commented, I said that Torchwood season 1 reruns will be on 10 HD starting tomorrow Thursday December 20 at 9:30pm. Well they are now off as in their place are the remaining episodes of Journeyman which has been axed from the regular channel.

Andrew Mercado in yesterday's Sydney Sunday Telegraph included in the columns in the Television page the stuff that Alan Dale has appeared including Ten HD's Torchwood.

This is either a guess or a certainty that season 2 will be on Ten HD.

We don't get 10 HD, or HD 10, down here, so this is news to me! I caught a couple of the Journeyman episodes and thought 'I really like this'. Then it disappeared. I should have known that when I like a S/F show on 10 -Battlestar, Torchwood or Journeyman, it will disappear soon after....

You bastards! You bastards!

Sorry. just had to get that off my chest.

This really makes no sense. How does Channel Ten expect to get more viewers if they put it on something not everyone can access? And I remember reading somewhere that anything shown on HD has to have been shown on regular TV first. I guess they scrapped that rule pretty quickly.

My borhter told me they were showing BSG series three on HD Ten during January in Adelaide -and I'm pretty sure that was never run on free to air.

Yeah on the site it says it's "exclusive to 10 HD".

Just caught an ad of BBC HD which is available to subscribers of Foxtel HD+ and I noticed included in the ad is Torchwood.

Looks like Torchwood has moved out of UKTV for pay tv screening.

Looks like Torchwood has not moved out of UKTV as I read this FAQ on the UKTV site:
Q2: Is series 2 of Torchwood coming to UKTV?
A: Yes, early next year.

This should be good news for those who do not have 10 HD but have UKTV.
