This morning I finished watching the Dungeons and Dragons movie which had a cameo by Tom Baker on DVD. I got the DVD for free as a prize at my sci fi club trivia a couple of weeks ago.
The movie is barely tolerable but it was still good to see Tom in it. Also I noticed in the credits that the costume designer was Barbara Lane. Lane designed the costumes for eight Doctor Who serials including The Android Invasion, The Seeds of Doom & The Hand of Fear for Tom's era. Other Doctor Who stories that she costumed designed for were The War Machines, The Claws of Axos, The Daemons The Curse of Peladon & The Time Monster. |

Finished listening to the first of two commentaries of Dungeons and Dragons on the DVD in which producer/director Courtney Solomon said that Tom is a nice man, talented but could not believe how big he is.
Solomon even mentioned Doctor Who by saying having Doctor Who on Dungeons and Dragons. He said that genre wise it fits together perfectly. |

| Finished listening to the second commentary to Dungeons and Dragons this time it includes the movie's star Justin Whalan (who people will be familiar with as the second Jimmy in Lois and Clark). He too said he could not believe how big Tom is and he too says that he is a nice man. He did not mention Doctor Who though. |

Coincidentally Dungeons and Dragons will be on 7 tomorrow Thursday December 6 at midday.
Having now seen movie three times now as a result of the two commentaries, the movie does not look that bad as I previously said.
So if you want to see Tom in Dungeons and Dragons but don't know where to get the DVD of the movie then 7 tomorrow would have to be the option for you. |
