Did anyone watch the Vicar of Dibley......Gerri finally got married and it was some guy from Robin Hood and Alice, her Maid of Honour went as DT's Doctor (I am a Timelord and I will watch over you forever!!!....) and her Bridesmaids were 2 Daleks.....plus there was Owen who was the creator of the Cybermen and DT's Dad in Harry Potter #4 it would have been more funny if the bridesmids were Cybermen Laughing

What I liked about it is that Alice looked really really handsome dressing up as the Tennant Doctor and what a surprise that two bridesmaid were dressed as Daleks.

This was directed by Ed Bye and this is not the first time that he used the Daleks in a project that he has worked on. Bye was producer and director of Red Dwarf and he hired a couple of Daleks to appear in the Red Dwarf documentary Red Dwarf A-Z.

Hey why not have Bye work on the real thing by having something to do on the current Doctor Who TV series or at least one of its spin-offs.

The season 2 final Love and Marriage shown last night on 7 had a Doctor Who reference. Alice (Emma Chambers) says that for her wedding dress she would draw hearts each featuring a Doctor Who.

Given what happened later on in the final episode someone really should give Emma Chambers something to do on Doctor Who.

Vicar of Dibley was pulled out of its Saturday slot on 7 a couple of weeks ago due to the Rich List. Found out by accident from an ad that it is back on this Saturday tomorrow June 7 7:30pm.

Vicar of Dibley was on last night and will be on tonight as well at 8pm.

The one that was on last night Happy New Year had Geraldine explaining that Margaret Thatcher got booted out as British Prime Minister by John Major. There is this constant myth regarding the circumstances surrounding Thatcher's fall from power being that John Major booted her out. That is not really accurate as John Major did not initiate any attempt to remove her from office, Thatcher was forced to resign as she did not win enough votes over challenger Michael Heseltine needed for an upright victory under Conservative Party rules.

John Major, who was actually Thatcher's endorsed successor, was then elected to the leadership and thus the Prime Ministership beating Heseltine.

Today I finished my viewing of The Vicar of Dibley by seeing the last of the shorts the Comic Relief special last year.

The Vicar of Dibley has been a very fun series to watch.

I was just about to type all of this in the Tranquil Repose section due to Doctor Who references, but realised that it had more in common with Relative Dimension. I caught the repeat of this on ABC2 on Christmas Day. This was what I was going to write I'll pop it in here anyway so that I did not waste my time Laughing

The Vicar of Dibley final episode: Alice dresses as David Tennant's Doctor (Who) as she is the Vicar's Matron of Honour. She also has the bridesmaids dressed as Daleks. Also contained a relative dimension as it also stars Robert Lloyd Pack who plays Owen. He was otherwise known as Mr Lumic in Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel. Who then has another degree of separation in that he played Barty Crouch Snr in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Barty Crouch Jrs dad aka David Tennant). That Vicar of Dibley episode was Dr Who geek spot heaven Laughing

Oh yes! I noticed this too (I'm an old Red Dwarf fan Laughing ). Ed Bye should do some real Doctor Who projects! He'd be fab!
