Does anyone else think those angels in the background of the Doctor Who splash page advert for Voyage of the Dammed look strangely like Axons?

Well, after Gridlock, I doubt the return of old foes will only surprise anyone.

Yeah, but what next? The Zarbi? The sea people from Underwater Menace? The shimmery shower curtains from Invasion of Time???

True, but there will be a whole generation who haven't heard of half of them.

Actually, if the Axons are returning, it would be quite ironic considering that the Master has just died. Perhaps, this is a subtle trigger; more of those advertising dolllars at work?

We've seen the Zarbi (and the Web Planet itself) about fifty million times in other media (I exaggerate), so that might feel just a tad old.

Well, if you look closely at thed new photos that have appeared on the BBC's website, under day 5 of the adventure calendar, it would appear that our villains are most probably not Axons. The reason for this being that if you look closely at the angel card (if you go there, you'll see what I mean). You may find a pair of blue eyes staring back at you. Keep in mind that this just my be an oversight, however unlikely, and that they are meant to be Axons. As always at this point it is just pure speculation, based on the few facts they are giving us.

Based upon new photographic evdience released on the Doctor Who website it seems that the the Axons could be back be back on the list of villains causing havoc on the spacecraft Titanic. However, it is difficult to say anything with any degree of certainty at this stage.

Yes, that's right, spacecraft. Go to the Doctor Who website and click on day nine. If you complete the puzzle you'll see what I mean.

Unfortunately they arent Axons. I thought they might of been the same type of Robot from the Tom Baker era from "Robots Of Death" but that was wrong also.

This episode did actually raise the bar. Series four looks good. nice of them to keep us guessing. Was that Lucy Saxon I saw with the sonic screw driver?
