No, it is not just you. Very Happy

Paradise Lost:
Don't really know what to make of the title sequence.

The dead town plot was also used for a Six Million Dollar Man episode.

Was surprise to see that this episode was directed by Tim Matheson.
I had a feeling that what was shown on the television was meant to be something familiar and was proven right as I read this at TV.com:
"This episode features a scene from the episode "Exodus, Part 2" from Battlestar Galactica, which shares producer David Eick and recurring star Katee Sackhoff with this show."
Love it when the paint can hit the soldier.

Overall not bad for a second episode.

Bionic Woman has again won the Australian ratings as Phantom at knowfirst.info posted that Paradise Lost attracted viewing figures of 1.417 million (Sydney). This is down from 1.59 for the pilot. This is a drop of 10.9% but still better than the 21% drop in US ratings.

Sisterhood:
Like it when Jaime asked about Canada having an army. Cute.
Now we know how Sarah got the idea of driving truck onto the car with Sarah as Will as the exact thing happened when she was drving a car with her sister and her sister being killed from that accident.
Love it when brat girl was in the same room with Ruth.
This episode so far is the most time that Jaime and Sarah have a dialogue together and it has been played out well by the actors playing them.
Written by series creator David Eick it is a very good first episode for the series from him.

Unfortunately just as the series seems to be getting better, Australian ratings is continuing to go down. From Phantom at knowfirst.info, for Sydney ratings the series has now fallen from first to fifth place for Thursday night's viewings with 1.231 million viewers. Bionic Woman came one place behind Ghost Whisperer which got 1.244 million viewers.

Original series star Lindsay Wagner has made known what she thinks of the new show:
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bionic-woman/new-bionic-woman-wants-to-do-i-12410.aspx
""It's very different," Lindsay Wagner, who played the first Jamie Sommers back in the mid to late `70s, told the Los Angeles Daily News. "It's very much like what the shows are today, kind of dark and broody and violent - what people seem to be getting off on these days. So, it's not at all what we were doing. We were doing a show for kids intentionally and making it fun and make it in such a way that adults could enjoy it, too, with their children.""

Faceoff:
What a shock that Jaime only has five years to live before her bionics goes kaput. However in hindsight I probably could have figured this downside of being bionic.
Jaime has five years but the question is whether the show would even last that long.

The next episode on Thursday November 1 comes fourth place in TV WEEK's highlights of the day with reviewer David Kettle praising the cool fight sequences.

The Education of Jaime Sommers:
Jaime goes undercover at college as a student from England which means that Michelle got to use her real British voice on the show. Such a lovely voice. This could be the only time that Michelle's real voice is used on Bionic Woman, Australian viewers however will have another chance to hear it. This is because before Bionic Woman, Michelle appeared in the BBC series Jekyll and Jekyll sometime in the future will be shown on the ABC.
Enjoyed this episode especially when Jaime threw that melon.

As the voiceover says Australian viewers will see the next episode 7 hours after the US broadcast. 7 showing the episode 7 hours later, how apt.

The List:
Guest stars Beth Broderick and it is always lovely to see her.
Kevin Rankin is pretty funny in this episode and would not surprise me if he becomes a series regular.
This has been a very James Bond like episode and funny enough there was one person who looked like Oddjob from Goldfinger.
Lucy and Jonas meet. Wow didn't expect that to happen.
This has been a very enjoyable episode and hopefully there will more episodes of this quality in future.

Trust Issues:
The slow motion of Jaime's running is almost like the slow motion effects of the original series.
Antonio said bionic not immortal. Such wise words.
Surprise to see former 24 star Roger Cross here especially since I saw him a few days earlier in the TV movie A Father's Choice.
Quite like it when Tom said "Watch out for the other brokers." Appreciated the joke of that.
Not surprise that Antonio got killed off as I had known that Isaiah Washington was only going to be in the show for five episodes and this was the last of the five.

Do Not Disturb:
I find Do Not Disturb enjoyable. Not that much exciting but still relaxing enough.
Nice to hear the intro to the A-Team and surprise to see a clip of Heroes briefly on the television especially since Heroes comes after Bionic Woman in transmission.

I read in an MSN UK article yesterday that Bionic Woman may be axed due to falling ratings overseas. However we will get a second series and the the author did stress that, at this stage, the aforementioned was an unsubstanciated rumour.

I was at a Convention a few months ago, in Melbourne and one of the Guest Stars from the US mentioned that the new Bionic Woman cost so much just for the first episode and that already, it was like the third or fourth episode in at that stage, they were losing money and the US ratings were falling....and that was back then.

I admit, I gave up after the first two eps. - I still love the original better Smile
