Sanctuary originally began as a web series as a side project involving the Stargate SG-1 trio of Amanda Tapping, Damian Kindler and Martin Wood.

Tapping is the lead actor of the series, Kindler is the creator and Wood directed all the webisodes.

Now Sanctuary is to make its transition to television produced by Sci Fi:

If Sci Fi here in Australia gets to show it, I hope we get to see the web series first as the first four of the eight webisodes were available to view for free in video sites such as YouTube.

I therefore have not seen the last four episodes of the web series as it is only available for purchase.
