I recently finished watching the first season of the Medieval mystery series featuring Sir Derek Jacobi in the title role.

While I was watching the first story, I was sure I knew the actor playing Hugh Beringer, but for the life of me I couldn't place him. So I watched the credits with interest.

Of course I didn't know him - never seen him in anything before in my life. But what I was recognising was those facial features he inherited from his father.

The actor was Sean Pertwee.
