In its new look website Big Finish provides a list of all the Big Finish plays that David Tennant has done prior to becoming the Tenth Doctor. So for those of you who have only heard about David Tennant's participation in Big Finish but have not gotten the chance to get any of his Big Finish plays, here is the list:
http://www.ekmpowershop5.com/ekmps/shops/BigFinish/index.asp?function=DISPLAYCAT&catid=52

Of the releases that are listed only The Adventures of Luther Arkwright is not in any way related to Doctor Who.

I have most of David Tennant's Big Finish plays. The exceptions being the aforementioned Luther Arkwright & UNIT - The Wasting

I can't say I've heard all of these, but I doubt any of his other performances could possibly beat Galanar from Dalek Empire III. In fact, perhaps sacreligiously, I prefer him as Galanar - including his eccentric act at one point - to the Doctor.

I've heard all of them except Luther Arkwright (has anyone heard Luther Arkwright?), and I have to agree he is brilliant as Galanar in Dalek Empire III.

Also worth a listen though are his turns as Colonel Brimmicombe-Wood in Sympathy for the Devil and The Wasting. For those who haven't heard Brimmicombe-Wood he is an angry, obnoxious and most of the time hilarious scottish UNIT soldier. He steals the show in Sympathy for the Devil, and thinking of the character made me want to listen to it again.

As for The Wasting, it is the last part of a series so I wouldn't really advise listening to this before the rest of the series, but here (without giving much away) Brimmicombe-Wood is downright scary, it's a very good performance.

I've heard The Adventure of Luther Arkwright, and a lovely thing it is too.

Hopefully Mr Tennant will have time to record an adaptation of its sequel, Heart of Empire, some day.[/b]

Finished listening to The Wasting just before Voyage of the Damned comes on tomorrow night on ABC1.

That is all the Who-related stuff that David Tennant has done for Big Finish that I have listened to.

Now it is just the non-Who The Adventure of Luther Arkwright left to find and listen to.
