For those not familiar with The Dalek Chronicles, hopefully the following link will explain it all:
http://www.shockeye.org.uk/OnlineSpecials/Dalchron/Dalchron_intro.html

"In recent months, The Dalek Chronicles have been made available in a new 3D digital format, available on VCD through the Doctor Who Fan Network."

I recently got the VCD version and I finished the first story Genesis of Evil:
Quite an interesting look at the alternative origins of the Daleks as shown in the Doctor Who TV series.
Here instead of Davros, the Daleks were created by scientist Yarvelling who is not in anyway menacing as Davros.
The way that the Dalek race began as shown through this first instalment of the Chronicles looks just as compelling as that of Genesis of the Daleks from the Doctor Who TV series.

TS - you forgot (I hope you noticed!) that, in the Big Finish mini-series I, Davros, Davros' sister's name is Yarvell.

Episode 2: Power Play:
An alien ship which has slaves arrives on Skaro.
While this is a good story of the fight for freedom the slaves' fight also unwittingly gave the Daleks vital knowledge about space travel. Hence starts the Daleks' conquest of the universe.
A good second episode.

Episode 3: Duel of the Daleks:
Gold Dalek Emperor gets challenged by Red Dalek Zeg.
A very good instalment in the series to see who would win in this duel.

Episode 4: The Amaryll Challenge:
This episode was divided into two parts and it is justifiable with the way the story is structured.
The challenge of the title is difficult for the Daleks to overcome, a challenge which they are determine to fight to the end. After all their mantra is that the Daleks are never defeated.

Episode 5: The Pentaray Factor:
The Daleks land on a planet hoping to dupe its inhabitants that they have good intentions. Quite a good story and luckily not all are fooled by the Daleks' false intentions.

Episode 6: Plague of Death:
The Daleks gets infected with a virus with the Black Dalek the carrier. Excellent seeing Daleks destroying each other in order not to get infected plus a good scene at the end between the Gold Emperor and the Black Dalek.

Episode 7: The Menace of the Monstrons
The Daleks faced some challenging adversaries in this episode which climaxes with a sacrifice that defeats them.
The design of the robots of the adversaries of this story is staggering.

Episode 9: The Archives of Phryne:
This episode presents a very good display of defiance against the Daleks as they invaded Phyrne.
Good execution of the episode.

Episode 10: Rogue Planet:
This was very good as the threat against the Daleks is that of the Rogue Planet of the title.
Interesting having a planet as a baddie in this.

Episode 11: Impasse:
A third party wants to prevent a war between the Daleks and the Mechanoids, so they sent a robot agent with this task.

Very good in seeing the efforts of the agent in trying to avert war and also noticed that the Gold Dalek Emperor says a similar line to that of Davros in Genesis of the Daleks.

Episode 12: The Terrorkon Harvest:
Very good final episode to this series.
A very good challenge that the Daleks have faced with the Terrorkon monsters of the titles.
The Terrorkon monsters sure look ferocious.
