I may be stating the obvious here but has anyone noticed that "Dalek" is "Kaled" spelt backwards with the a and the e transposed?

I think the Doctor himself sort of points that out in 'Genesis of the Daleks', doesn't he? When they first tell him what they are. From memory.

yes he does. I prefer the original reference to the Dals in the first season.
