| It was as successful as Clyde's attempts to charm girls... |

So, we have aliens kidnapping children to become warriors in a war on another planet based on their performance in laser-tag - and Luke and Clyde are among those chosen, right? And Sarah and Maria aren't in a much better position...
Part 2 moves the story out of the investigation phase, with a few interesting points - our title monster, Kudlak, gets a bit of an exploration as a character and is revealed to have more depths than the opponents of earlier stories.
While both Maria and Clyde have things to do in this story, it is really the Sarah and Luke show with the others along for the ride. While some of it seemed to easy, at least it was all 'with one zap of the sonic lipstick...' stuff - I especially liked Luke's escaping of the crate.
After the H2O scoop last time (what else can it be when people are teleported in freak rain showers?), we have Slabs. Well, not named as such, but unspeaking henchmen with motorcycle helmets...
And end up with an anti-war message, albeit a mild one.
Pretty simple but good.

| Better than the first ep. I enjoyed this ep. Pleased that Kudlak turned out to be a good guy after all. Sarah's face when she looked out upon the earth was priceless. Didn't think much of Clyde this ep. Too full of himself and then, although he gave Luke credit for all he did, he seemed to take a ride on Luke's success. It was funny at the end when Clyde thought the girl was coming over to him and she ended up kissing Luke. Loved the Sarah and Granthem[sp] scene in her living room. Good thinking from Maria. All in all not a bad story all up. Nice to see alot of smiling and laughing in this ep as opposed to all the seriousness and frowning in the last one. Really looking forward to the next one. Very mysterious. |

A good conclusion to the story.
Brilliant that Luke uses Clyde's phone to help their escape on the ship and it addresses perfectly on how those who are good at war can cope when war is over as mistress is revealed as a computer.
I have to say that the spaceship looks like one from Stargate. Very good likeness.
Grantham escapes. Wonder whether he will return one day. |

I've really gotta look at the Earth from space now, coz whenever I see it on TV I just think, "Oh, it's the whole look-at-how-amazing-Earth-is scene". I feel like I'm not appreciating it as much as I should.
This episode revealed quite a different side to Kudlak. While I like that he was good, I found it too big a change in his personality. |
