I am starting this thread on Danger Man as I recently bought the season 1 set.
For those not familiar with Danger Man:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danger_Man

Noticed from looking at the set that writers on the show include Michael Pertwee, Jon's brother and Ian Stuart Black.

Danger Man refers to the lead character John Drake played by Patrick McGoohan.

After Danger Man, McGoohan became The Prisoner whose real name was never revealed and was only known by a number - 6. As a result of this there has been a debate about whether The Prisoner was John Drake despite McGoohan's denial that he was Drake.

Season 1 of Danger Man had 39 episodes. I have not seen any of it before as my previous viewing of Danger Man was with the subsequent 47 episodes that was shown on 9, about a decade ago (don't remember whether Nine shown all 47 or most of it) in the early hours of the morning and I remember enjoying watching it very much.

View From A Villa:
Season 1, Episode 1.
Very good opening episode to the series with a very good plotline involving an embezzler and his mistress
Very good fun.

Also noticed from the credits that Ian Stuart Black is credited as Associate Producer.

Time To Kill:
Season 1, Episode 2.
Just as Drake tracks down an assassin, he spends much of this episode being handcuffed to a woman. Very fun seeing that.

Josetta:
Season 1, Episode 3.
Julia Arnall was very lovely as the title character and quite an ingenious trick that Drake employed to catch the baddie.

The Lonely Chair:
Season 1, Episode 8.
Quite fun seeing Drake pretending to be a cripple rich man in order to rescue the rich man's daughter but quite a surprise when Patrick Troughton turns up late in this episode.

Very good episode dealing with corruption within the government and police plus a very nice appearance by Dorothy White as Raquel Vargas.

The Sisters:
Season 1, Episode 12.
The title refers to a woman professor being reunited with her long lost sister but one of them is an imposter.
Very good in how Drake discovered who the imposter is.
