so this book isn't exactly a "New Series Novel" but it is mostly new-series stuff and mostly fiction and I couldn't work out where else to mention it.
does anyone else have it yet?
mine arrived today (~AU$20 incl. shipping from Amazon UK.) I've leafed through it and it looks great - four short stories (three from writers who contributed to the new series) and a comic story, a potted history of the series, a couple of behind-the-scenes articles and character profiles on Rose and The Doctor (these last two written by Russell T Davies)
and a couple of quiz/puzzle pages (which look pretty juvenile)
so far I've read the comic and Robert Shearman's contribution which is excellent, though too "dark" for me to read aloud to my kids as I had planned - I imagine the other three stories will be more suitable for them.
all-in-all I'm very happy with the book and I hope it sells well enough for Panini to continue to produce them in years to come.
mods please move this if you feel it belongs in a different section. thanks. |

| I just finished reading it and I loved it especially the Sally Sparrow story by Steven Moffat. |

| Has anyone seen the 2006 annual being sold in Australia or is the only way to get it from overseas? |

It's worth noting that the word 'annual' isn't mentioned. It says 'Doctor Who' at the top of the cover and 'Thrilling adventures in time and space!' at the bottom. It has both the BBC and the ABC logos. It is an Australian edition, not an imported UK edition. |

| I realised today that I have seen this in the ABC shop for ages. I would prefer it not to be in Hardcover, but oh well, I think I will get it eventually. |
